Bicycle Deco Playing Cards, the highly anticipated project from Paul Carpenter and Encarded, launched today on Kickstarter and instantly reached it’s goal in under 10 minutes. The project will accept funding for another 27 days until July 29th when Kickstarter will officially fund the project. Shipping is expected to occur this September.

Bicycle Deco is a two-deck playing card project that features a silver and a bronze deck. Inspired by classic casino playing cards like Jerry’s Nuggets and Golden Nugget Gambling Hall playing cards, these two new Deco playing card decks are fully custom cards designed in an Art Deco style of the early 20th century.

Because it is in Paul’s vision to guarantee Kickstarter backers their decks, Deco was set at a low goal of only $1K. These decks will be sold on Encarded.com once they are available but Encarded is giving Kickstarter backers an early stab at it. Because once this deck series is gone, it is gone – Only 2,500 pairs will be printed.
