Here’s an interesting piece of news. DnD and Alejandro Portela of thecuso announced that they are collaborating in a new project, Deckstarter.
Built for designers, Deckstarter is the easiest way to get your own deck from the first paper sketches to the hands of thousands of playing card aficionados.
This is not surprising considering all the successful playing card projects that have been coming out on Kickstarter. Not sure how diverse the audience will be in Deckstarter in comparison to Kickstarter. The thing that makes Kickstarter unique is that you can discover new, odd and unique projects from across different category. Only time will tell.
