Designed by Eric Duan and Steven Tang, the Takefu deck draws its inspiration from ancient Chinese folklore and a unique imagery of Chinese Warriors.
The thing that attracted me to this deck was just that unique look, the beautifully artistic pip design has that “painted” look to them and the courts have a spherical blur effect, giving the image a look of motion. Centered in the sphere is an iconic Chinese Warrior arch type in various stances and wardrobe. The deck also includes a custom Ace of Spades and 2 custom Jokers.
I really like the strong Chinese design elements and striking back design, although the one way image may not please some, a very well designed deck that won’t put a strain on your wallet.
