Social Media Roundup: Cool Deck Images, Honeybee Elite and Kings Wild Shorts

Social network such as Twitter and Instagram provides a platform for breaking news and instant reactions. Cardists, Magicians and Card aficionados are often rarely passed up an opportunity to show off their card skills. Social networks are fast-moving and there are a good amount of posts that don't get the recognition they deserve.

To change that, we've rounded up some of the best Tweets and Instagram posts from the past week with the hashtag #kardify.

The Bicycle Games Playing Cards Set printed by the United States Playing Card Company (@officialbicyclecards) in a Carat X2 Double Deck Case. . In the 1980’s, in order to diversify their product lines, USPCC formed the Bicycle Games Division, which created several new board games, some of which used playing cards, such as Criss-Cross Po-Ke-No and Pyramid Po-Ke-No. . Criss-Cross Po-Ke-No is a game in which each player was is dealt 25 cards that are placed one-at-a-time in the empty slots of a card tray to make 10 poker hands, five across and five deep.  Once the tray is filled, the player bets on each of the ten hands formed to win points…the first to 100 wins. . Pyramid Po-Ke-No is a game in which players form a pyramid of ten different types of poker hands with cards that they are given (seven) and cards that they draw.  The first to complete all hands or with the highest number of points at the end of a certain number of turns wins. . Both games came with a set of a Red and Blue Bicycle Games Playing Cards, which were only made for these two games.  The back design, which is on the front and back of the tuck, is of the Bicycle King riding a Penny Farthing (high wheeled bicycle), framed in red or blue with the traditional stylized ‘Bicycle’ logo above and the word ‘Games’ below.  The custom AoS also has the ‘Bicycle’ logo above and the word ‘Games’ below an enlarged Ace while the Jokers are again the the image of the Bicycle King riding a Penny Farthing.  The remainder of the deck is a standard Bicycle deck with standard courts. .
