Social Media Roundup: Seasons Mystery Decks, Chess Club, The Parlour, Cardistry and More!

Social network such as Twitter and Instagram provides a platform for breaking news and instant reactions. Cardists, Magicians and Card aficionados are often rarely passed up an opportunity to show off their card skills. Social networks are fast-moving and there are a good amount of posts that don't get the recognition they deserve.

To change that, we've picked the best Tweets and Instagram posts from the past week with the hashtag #kardify. To see the ALL hashtagged images, click here!

Tycoon Playing Cards, designed by Theory 11 (@theory11) and Steve Cohen (@chambermagic) and printed by the United States Playing Card Company (@officialbicyclecards) in a Carat X5 Five Deck Case. . Steve Cohen began performing his show, Chamber Magic, at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City in April 2001 and after 17 years, moved to the New York Palace in mid-2018, where he continues to perform today to well-dressed audiences (cocktail attire required) from around the world, including numerous notable individuals such as Warren Buffet, Michael Bloomberg, the Queen of Morocco, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and many more…no wonder he is known as the ‘Millionaires Magician’. . In 2013, Steve and T11 collaborated to create a deck for use in Chamber Magic and the result was nothing but elegance refined…a luxurious pair of red and blue decks. . The tuck box is made of a soft craft paper the color of the card backs and is covered in gold foil and embossing. The front of tuck has a lady holding a spear and shield with two halves of the world map on her right and left, all framed by a large spade. . The back of tuck shows the card back design, which is a mirrored image of an elaborate clock face with roman numerals encircled by filigree that forms an eight, framed by two columns of leaves that ends in a flower on the right and left sides. . Aside for the custom tuck and backs, the deck also features a custom AoS (the front of tuck) and two matching custom Jokers of a gentleman in a top hat and coat, one colored and one black and white. The courts are Fournier Courts, which rounds off the deck’s classy feel. . In 2016, T11 released the Black Tycoons, followed by the White Tycoons in 2018 and the Green Tycoons in early 2019. All decks are the same as the originals except with the respective colored tuck and backs. For more information, check out these and other awesome decks on Theory11’s website. . How do you protect and display your treasured decks?
