On our previous Project by Numbers series, we’ve looked at pledge and backer numbers for popular playing card projects and where playing card projects come from.
2014 was an incredible year for crowd-funded playing card projects with over $4.79m pledged from 381 projects. With that, for our first quarterly Project by Numbers feature, we look at where all these projects come from in 2014.

Incredible growth for 2014, approximately 342% increase from 2013.
Hope you find this insightful. In the next quarter, we will look at the average pledge per backer for each year since 2010. Also, we will drill down the numbers and analyze if there is a trend in terms of average backer spent for each month of the year.
