Yesterday, news broke that Jetsetter Playing Cards was going to release a limited edition deck based on the most secret airline, JANET. Paul Ruccio, Jetsetter’s founder, revealed the news on the Jetsetter Playing Cards Premier Edition backer update on Kickstarter. Paul explained,
Callsign: JANET. The direct inspiration of the new limited deck from Jetsetter Playing Cards is the fleet of aircraft that operate as the most secret airlines in the United States. The aircraft are primarily unmarked aside from the dominate red stripe and the registration number required the FAA. The fleet has been designated to transport employees of Area 51 from Las Vegas directly to Groom Lake so they can work in seclusion on special ‘black’ projects.
This secretive deck will be printed by Expert Playing Card Company at a low production run of 500 decks using their Classic Finish. Expect many of the typical features that come from a deck released by Jetsetter Playing Cards. Check it out on Kickstarter NOW!
