On Kickstarter, The Steam Wonders Playing Cards

Explore the whimsical world of Animal Steam Utopia, where the Steam Age roars to life through the eyes of industrious animals. Inspired by the era when steam reshaped human history, this deck by GamiPockie imagines what might have happened if animals lived through the same dramatic transformation.

Each card portrays an animal in a Steam Age profession, an alpaca as a hairdresser, a rabbit as an aeronaut, a beaver as a miner, an elephant as a train engineer... all illustrated in a woodcut-influenced style that blends charm with industrial flair.

Now on Kickstarter, the collection is available in Silver, Gold, and Special Editions, each featuring 54 fully customized cards. Both the Silver and Gold Editions come in double-sided foil tuck boxes and include an animated flip effect on the card backs, revealing motion as the deck is riffled.

The Special Edition elevates the experience with a pop-up mechanism inside the tuck box that reveals a running steam engine, along with foil detailing on both the card faces and sides. It also features the same animated flip-back design, bringing the world of Steam Utopia to life with every shuffle.

Finally, the two Jokers connect to form a charming locomotive scene, completing the narrative of this imaginative Steam Age universe.

Pledge starts at $16 on Kickstarter.

ZOO 52 Playing Cards by Lunzi & TCC Now on Kickstarter

TCC's ZOO 52 continues the world first introduced in Room 52×52, preserving Lunzi’s warm, hand-drawn style while expanding it into a richer and more imaginative landscape. Born from the idea of mystery and discovery, each deck feels like opening a door to an unknown world, an evolution of the blind-box concept that made Room 52×52 so beloved among collectors.

The journey moves from the abstract space of Room 52×52 into a lush natural paradise. ZOO 52 features 54 animal portraits that magnify the textures of fur, feathers, scales and skin, transforming the details of life into expressive visual language.

Each illustration is drawn entirely by hand with a dip pen, capturing the animals in their most authentic state... their habits, environments, and the rhythm of their existence, imbued with the artist’s breath and warmth.

A subtle fence motif appears throughout the deck, shifting the viewpoint from human observer to animal perspective, introducing boundaries that shape the world quietly and deliberately. The tuck box and card back design echo each other, creating a cohesive miniature art piece from the moment it’s opened.

The Kickstarter project also continues a playful tradition of hidden stories. Before ZOO 52’s full reveal, an Easter-egg panda appeared at Cardistry-Con China 2025 as a preview of Panda 52, offering an early look at the whimsical energy of the series.

That same spirit lives on in the various editions, from the Pre-Release deck with gold-foiled interiors to the beloved Panda 52, whose relaxed charm and gentle personality have made it a worldwide favorite. The Gilded Edition adds layered detail with bamboo-inspired green elements, gold accents, and dual-tone edges, limited to just 300 copies.

Pledge starts at $9 on Kickstarter.

Assassin's Creed Legacy Version II Playing Cards by Room One

The officially licensed Assassin’s Creed playing card by Room One returns, re-engineered with new colorways, upgraded finishes, and a complete visual overhaul. Following the success of the original Hidden Blade decks, honored with a Deck of the Year Award for Best Innovation and sold out across all limited editions- the legacy has been reborn.

This new installment elevates every detail. Each edition now features full metallic cold-foil across the faces and backs, giving the artwork a shimmering, animated presence with every movement. The signature editions push this even further with holographic foil gilded edges in onyx black or garnet red. Paired with fully remastered card art and bold new palettes, Version II offers a fresh way to experience the world of Assassin’s Creed.

Every card draws from the lore of the franchise. The court cards portray legendary Assassins and rival Templars in detailed illustrations that reflect their histories, personalities, and roles in the saga. Even the number cards are fully customized, incorporating symbols, motifs, and visual cues inspired by the franchise’s historical eras and hidden narratives.

Four editions are available, each offering a distinct style and level of collectibility: the Onyx Signature Edition, Garnet Signature Edition, Onyx Hidden Blade Edition, and Garnet Hidden Blade Edition.

ANYONE Unveils the Tally-Ho Anyone Playing Cards

Few playing card designs have shaped cardistry culture as profoundly as the Tally-Ho Circle Backs. Known for their elegance and handling, these decks... particularly the legendary blue seal editions from USPCC’s Ohio factory. They weren’t just cards; they were the beginning of an obsession.

That emotional history is what inspired Anyone to work with the USPCC to create the Tally-Ho · Anyone, a respectful yet refined evolution of a classic. Rather than altering the beloved design, Anyone enhances its performance through a custom black ink formula that produces a noticeably smoother surface and a tactile feel optimized for motion.

The presentation captures the minimalist confidence that defines Anyone’s visual identity. The cards come housed in a double-back tuck, marked subtly with an A1 signature at the base. A blue USPCC seal closes the deck, a deliberate nod to the original Tally-Ho editions that sparked so much enthusiasm within the community.

The deck is printed on Thin Crushed stock, pressed for a slimmer profile and livelier snap perfect for flourishes, displays, and rapid handling.

This release arrives as part of a limited Black Friday window, paired with Anyone’s newly designed deck bag. The pricing will only be available for forty-eight hours starting at $9 per deck and $130 for the bag, this is the only chance to get these items at 50% off on Anyone store.

Dairy Playing Cards

Dairy is a fully custom deck steeped in retro charm... a playful tribute to 1950s advertising, where wholesome smiles meet a faint hint of suburban unease. Designed by Sinecure in collaboration with X-Decks, the deck blends mid-century nostalgia, kitsch, and a touch of dystopian humor into a set of cards that feel both comfortingly familiar and intriguingly offbeat.

Presented as a product of the fictional Daffodil Farm, a “wholesome” subsidiary of Atlas Aerospace Inc., the deck leans fully into vintage commercial cheer: fresh milk, perfect families, and immaculate domestic bliss… if you don’t look too closely.

Throughout the deck, hidden stories and subtle cracks reveal that perfection might not be as perfect as it seems. Aces take the form of ice-cream treats shaped like their suits, pips are customized in strawberry and chocolate tones, and every card carries a cheerful reminder to drink more milk... because, of course, it’s good for you. The Jokers introduce glimpses of personal trouble beneath the curated suburban surface, and an additional mystery card, designed with the solver of the Passport puzzle, adds a touch of lore.

The tuck box resembles mid-century grocery packaging, complete with frosty tones, rolling farm hills, and the cheerful mascot Lil’ Dee. A faux top seal gives the box a classic look without requiring any cutting. Inside, the back design references old Cornishware stripes in soft blue, cream, and white, the visual language of classic dairies and country kitchens.

Dairy comes in two editions. The Vintage Edition is the pure, classic version: clean, simple, and ready to play. The Collector’s Edition elevates the experience with striped edge painting that wraps the card design around the deck, a premium tuck with raised spot-gloss elements, pink gingham interior printing, and side cutouts that reveal the striped edges within.

For those who want the full farm-fresh experience, both editions can be packaged in a re-closable half-milk-carton collector box. Available in either an all-Vintage set or a mix of one Vintage and two Collector’s decks, the carton set offers a charming... and distinctly quirky-way to store your cards.

Printed by Shuffled Ink on black-core stock with a linen finish and fulfilled by X-Decks. Pledge starts from $13 on Kickstarter.

The Spirit of Cubism Playing Cards

The Spirit of Cubism reimagines playing cards through the geometric poetry of Cubism. Each card becomes a miniature painting, turning every hand into an artistic experience. Designed by SixtyFourPlayingCards as a visual narrative, the deck invites dialogue between its cards, blending the boundaries of art and gaming in a timeless expression of creativity and form.

Inside, the Kings, Queens, Jacks, and Jokers are transformed into modern portraits fragmented by vibrant geometry, while the Aces evolve beyond symbols into abstract compositions. Hearts, spades, clubs, and diamonds dissolve into playful arrangements of light and color, creating number cards that feel like individual canvases.

Two editions are available during the Kickstarter campaign- the Red Edition and the Black Edition. Each deck embody a distinct interpretation of the Cubist spirit. The Red Edition radiates warmth and vitality, its design bursting with energy and golden highlights, like brushstrokes on a sunlit canvas.

The Black Edition is its elegant, introspective counterpart, where geometry dances within the shadows, revealing sophistication and mystery in every line.

Both decks are housed in a beautifully finished box, complete with gold foil, embossing, and individually numbered tuck seals. Printed by NPCC Noir Arts on premium German linen card stock and available now on Kickstarter for $17.
