Quad Asylum Playing Cards on Kickstarter

Anti-Faro’s latest offering on Kickstarter is a dark, immersive journey into the harrowing tales of psychiatric wards, meticulously designed for the discerning enthusiast. This collection is the culmination of some of Anti-Faro’s most haunting artwork, combined with specialized packaging. 

Every aspect of this deck was thoughtfully planned to evoke the clinical, chilling atmosphere of a forgotten institution. Inside, the court cards feature twelve mysterious inmates rendered in greys and sepia tones, each holding a clue to your escape. 

The indices and pips echo a dark history, utilizing a distressed typewriter font modeled after mid-century institutional forms to ground the deck in a gritty, historical reality.

No detail was overlooked, from the unique straitjacket tuck boxes that require you to physically unbuckle the binding to access the cards, to the Asylum Plaque editions featuring heavy hot-foiled embossing. The satin gold and silver gilded edges provide a tactile, premium finish that feels both worn and dangerously sharp.

Beyond just a deck of cards, the Quad Asylum serves as an interactive puzzle that bridges the gap between art and game. The inclusion of special edition metallic gilding and custom-molded collector’s coins makes these sets a centerpiece for any serious card display.

Butterfly (Wedding Edition) Playing Cards

Butterfly Playing Cards has marked a special occasion with the release of the Butterfly Wedding Deck, created to celebrate the wedding of founder Ondrej and his partner, Hanka last month.

The deck is a borderless, unmarked edition featuring a gold-foiled back design and completely custom faces. The Jokers portray Ondrej and Hanka, while the couple also appears at the center of the Ace of Hearts. The Two of Hearts features their daughters, Josefina and Rozalie.

Printed by Room One on 270gsm Sleight Stock with a traditional cut. Only 200 decks are available for individual purchase, with a maximum of 12 decks per customer. Ondrej originally printed 500 decks, with more than 100 given as gifts to wedding guests and the remainder held for personal use and occasional promotions.

ACC 2026 Playing Cards by Room One Cards

Room One x Asia Card Convention 2026. Created as the official companion to the second Asia Card Convention (ACC 2026) in Guangzhou, this limited-edition deck celebrates the growing playing card collecting community across Asia.

The deck features custom mirrored back, custom Ace of Spades and traditional court cards. Also, an exclusive Gilded Edition, featuring a special deck seal, was also produced in limited numbers for convention attendees with special-tier tickets.

A fitting keepsake from ACC 2026 and a collectible marking the second chapter of one of Asia's key playing card events.

Smoke and Mirrors (Mirror Flower and Water Moon) Playing Cards

Room One and Dan & Dave have teamed up for Smoke and Mirrors, a two-deck set inspired by the intriguing connection between illusion and the Chinese phrase 鏡花水月 (Mirror Flower Water Moon).

“Smoke and mirrors” describes the obscuring or embellishment of truth, while Mirror Flower Water Moon refers to something beautiful yet intangible and impossible to grasp. The two ideas come together in a collection that explores illusion, reflection, and beauty across cultures.

First released at the Asia Card Convention (ACC) 2026 in Guangzhou, the decks combine Room One's contemporary aesthetic with Dan & Dave's signature playing card design.

The set features Mirror Flower and Water Moon, each with shimmering cold-foil card backs, semi-custom courts, custom Ace of Spades and Jokers. The decks are housed in a distinctive light-up Infinity Mirror tuck box, adding another layer of illusion to the presentation.

The Crowns (Standard Edition) Playing Cards

Room One Cards and CKB Studios have teamed up for The Crowns, a playing card deck inspired by the enduring symbols of royalty, power, and legacy. The deck debuted at the 2026 Asia Card Convention (ACC) in Guangzhou, alongside an exclusive Gilded Edition available only to select convention attendees. 

Each court card portrays a monarch or ruler from history, with their distinctive crowns drawing from the visual traditions of different cultures and empires.

Rather than focusing on royalty as an abstract concept, the deck explores the diverse traditions and iconography that have shaped civilizations throughout history.

The design uses a restrained palette of beige, rustic bronze, and muted traditional playing-card colours, giving the deck an aged, archival character reminiscent of historical artefacts and forgotten manuscripts. The tuck box features hot foil and embossing for an elevated finish.

The Great Pyramid of Giza & The Statue of Zeus Playing Cards

EON Playing Cards, a brand from Room One Cards, has launched the third and fourth entries in its Seven Wonders of the Ancient World collection with The Great Pyramid of Giza and The Statue of Zeus at Olympia Playing Cards.

The two decks celebrate contrasting ancient wonders- one still standing and one lost to history. The Great Pyramid edition draws inspiration from the geometry, sandstone tones, and enduring legacy of Egypt's iconic monument, while the Statue of Zeus edition embraces ivory, gold, and royal purple hues influenced by the legendary Greek masterpiece crafted by Phidias.

Each deck is available in Standard and Special Editions, featuring fully customized artwork inspired by Egyptian and Greek mythology. Both editions include embossed, hot-foil die-cut window tuck boxes, allowing collectors to view a custom 55th card through the front of the packaging.

The Standard Editions feature redesigned number cards, custom courts, and themed back designs, while the Special Editions add cold-foil accents, metallic gilded edges, and enhanced artwork across selected number cards, court cards, and card backs.

Bloom Playing Cards Unveils The Door Gods Playing Cards

Bloom Playing Cards has released The Door Gods Playing Cards on Kickstarter, a new collection inspired by the traditional Menshen (Door Gods) of Chinese folklore. The release is the latest entry in Room One's Collection System and celebrates the guardian deities believed to protect homes from evil spirits.

The series consists of four editions representing the changing seasons: Spring and Summer Standard Editions, alongside Autumn and Winter Special Editions. The Special Editions feature metallic cold-foil card faces and gilded edges, while all four decks showcase fully custom artwork inspired by traditional Chinese architecture, porcelain, and ornamental roof tiles.

Court cards depict legendary Door Gods, including Shenshu, Yulü, and other historic guardian figures, while the number cards combine to form panoramic seasonal garden scenes when displayed in sequence or as uncut sheets. 

Each edition also features a custom lattice window-inspired back design reflecting its seasonal color palette.

Ultraman Tiga (Special Edition) Playing Cards by Room One Cards is an eye-catching collector’s deck created for dedicated fans of the legendary Ultra Hero. This enhanced release introduces holographic gilded edges and an innovative illuminated tuck box that transforms the deck into both a playable set and a display centerpiece.

Blending vintage aviation aesthetics with retro-futuristic design, this series transforms the story of mankind’s first flight into an immersive playing card experience.

Available in four editions: Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 in both Standard and Signature variants... the decks feature fully custom artwork inspired by patent sketches, engineering blueprints, and early flight technology. The colour palette leans into aged parchment tones, patinaed copper, maroon, and muted terracotta, evoking the warmth and ambition of early aviation workshops.
