Black Roses Casino Vintage Casino Deck

Black Roses Casino Vintage Casino Deck by Black Roses Playing Cards, designed by Daniel Schneider, is a limited-edition deck that leans heavily into classic casino aesthetics with a stylised twist.

The deck features a pastel blue and white colourway, giving it a softer, vintage-inspired look compared to traditional casino decks.

The back design draws clear inspiration from iconic gambling decks like Jerry's Nugget, complete with a familiar layout and “nugget-style” typography, while still maintaining the Black Roses identity.

In terms of design, the deck keeps things mostly traditional. The faces are standard with subtle recolouring, while the court cards are lightly customised, making it easily recognizable. The jokers feature a Black Roses casino sign, and minimalist Ace of Spades.

There’s also a reveal element hidden within the deck, along with a double backer-style gaff card featuring a borderless variation of the back design.

Limited with a numbered seal, the number of decks will be printed depending on pre-orders. Decks are available to per-order on Black Roses for $16.50.

Deck View: Labyrinth (Solved Edition) Playing Cards

Intricate. Clever. Resolved.

Labyrinth (Solved Edition) Playing Cards by Jackson Robinson offers a refined, puzzle-complete take on one of the most unique maze-themed decks released. Unlike the Unsolved version, the Solved Edition reveals the answers directly within the artwork.

Each court card displays fully traced maze paths, transforming the designs into clear, elegant compositions while still preserving the complexity of the original concept. More than a puzzle, the Solved Edition becomes a display piece, showcasing the artistry behind the labyrinth designs in their completed form.

Printed by the Expert Playing Card Company, the deck emphasizes both precision and presentation. It’s housed in a beautifully letterpressed tuck case produced by Clove Street Press, with each deck individually numbered.... limited to just 500 copies.

Epiphyllum V2 Playing Cards

Epiphyllum V2 Playing Cards is the second chapter in a deeply emotional, art-driven series, created by XIANG as a continuation of the original Epiphyllum deck and a renewed collaboration with illustrator Chengcheng. This edition explores the theme of love and pain, drawing inspiration from the fleeting beauty of the epiphyllum flower... known for blooming briefly at night before fading away.

Rooted in the symbolism behind the Chinese idiom “a flash in the pan,” the deck reflects the idea of moments and relationships that are short-lived yet unforgettable. Like fireworks or a passing connection, the Epiphyllum becomes a metaphor for beauty that is intense, rare, and impossible to ignore.

The design carries this emotion through every detail. The tuck box is crafted from deep red matte cardstock, not printed red, but naturally coloured paper—giving it a richer, more saturated tone. Gold foil stamping highlights the title, while embossed elements add a tactile, three-dimensional quality that elevates the box beyond a flat surface.

Inside, the cards continue the same red-dominant aesthetic. The back design pays homage to the original deck but has been completely redrawn with greater depth and refinement. Cold foil stamping is carefully aligned with the floral artwork, enhancing the delicate lines and creating a subtle shimmer when the cards catch the light.

All 56 cards feature fully custom, hand-drawn illustrations, the result of around 60 days of meticulous work. Pledge starts at $10 on Kickstarter.

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Playing Cards

Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Playing Cards by Bloom Playing Cards is a visually rich, art-driven deck that reimagines the classic tale Alice's Adventures in Wonderland through the lens of Japanese Ukiyo-e and surrealist influence.

The deck blends the structured elegance of traditional woodblock prints with dreamlike distortions inspired by Salvador Dalí, resulting in a soft, painterly world where pastel tones and fluid lines capture Wonderland’s sense of playful chaos. Colours like sakura pink, hydrangea blue, and pale greens create a gentle, drifting atmosphere, while touches of black ink ground the design.

Released in four editions: Joukan and Gekan in both Standard and Special versions... the deck offers distinct visual experiences. The Special Editions feature metallic cold-foil accents, while the Standard Editions lean into softer pastel palettes.

The tuck boxes themselves are highly imaginative, including interactive designs like the “Tickky Tockky” box with moving clock hands, and the “Moon-in-a-Box,” which plays with light and illusion.

The cards are designed as a continuous visual journey. Number cards form panoramic scenes when laid out in sequence, guiding you through Alice’s adventure from the rabbit hole onward.

Custom pips evolve into thematic elements like mushrooms, pocket watches, and teapots, while the court cards portray iconic characters—from the White Rabbit to the Queen of Hearts—in flowing, Ukiyo-e-inspired attire.

The borderless card backs combine harlequin patterns, floral motifs, and melting clock imagery into a seamless, surreal composition. When fanned, the designs flow together into a continuous tapestry, enhancing the deck’s visual impact. Special Editions also feature printed edge designs that add another layer of detail.

Blending fine art, storytelling, and innovative design, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland Playing Cards is a collector-focused deck that transforms a familiar story into a dreamlike, immersive visual experience. Printed by Room One Cards and pledge starts at $16.50 on Kickstarter.

Beyond Imagination Playing Cards V3- Midnight & Ghost Edition is the final release in the series, designed as a complete two-deck set that brings together years of experience in performance, teaching, and design. Created by magician Jeremy Tan with magicians, cardists, and collectors in mind, this closing chapter focuses not just on aesthetics, but on real-world usability.

Both decks feature premium card stock and a refined finish, ensuring smooth, reliable handling suited for live performance as well as visual content. The designs are intentionally clean and elegant, allowing flourishes and sleight of hand to stand out while maintaining a strong visual identity.

Beneath this simplicity, however, lies a layer of functionality. Each deck includes a hidden marking system and a subtle one-way back design, offering built-in advantages for those who know where to look.

The set also comes equipped with essential gaff cards, including an odd-back, double-back, blank face, and a 52-in-1 card, expanding the range of effects possible straight out of the box. Beyond the physical decks, the project extends into education, with access to exclusive tutorials that cover routines, techniques, and practical applications. Buyers also gain entry to a broader library of over 100 magic tutorials by Jeremy, exploring tricks with cards, coins, and everyday objects.

Following the strong reception of the previous version, which quickly sold out and earned recognition within the magic community, the V3 serves as a fitting conclusion to the Beyond Imagination series. More than just a pair of decks, it represents the culmination of a creative journey that began in 2020, closing the series with a focus on both performance and legacy.

The set is available now from Cardvolution for $40.

Ace Fulton's Casino (Bootleg Edition) Playing Cards

Ace Fulton's Casino Bootleg Edition playing cards is a playful and self-aware take on counterfeit culture, reimagining their iconic deck through the lens of imitation and reproduction. Rather than being an actual knockoff, this release is an intentional “bootleg” created by Brad Fulton himself.

Inspired by a real encounter with counterfeit Fulton’s decks found in an Asian night market, the concept leans into the idea of copying by recreating the deck using an old Xerox-style process.

The result is a facsimile of the original Ace Fulton’s Casino design... intentionally imperfect, raw, and stripped down to a photocopied aesthetic. It even draws from an early version of the deck that never officially went to print, adding an extra layer of rarity and intrigue.

The tuck box continues the theme, designed to look like a simple matte photocopy, reinforcing the underground, bootleg feel. Despite its lo-fi concept, the deck maintains strong visual appeal.

Limited to just 400 decks, and available now on Fulton's Playing Cards for $25.

Unity Volume Two Playing Cards

Unity Playing Cards Volume Two, led by Dexter Amistad, is an ambitious follow-up to the award-winning Unity One, which earned the prestigious 52 Plus Joker Diamond Award. Building on that success, this second volume expands the concept into a large-scale collaborative project, bringing together 28 designers from around the world under a shared theme: music and cards.

Inside, each card in the deck is created by a different artist, resulting in a diverse yet unified collection of styles, all interpreting musical expression through the structure of a standard deck.

The courts transform into vivid performances, featuring musicians, instruments, and rhythmic compositions, while the number cards experiment with creative layouts that echo sound, motion, and melody.

The aces serve as standout centerpieces, each one pushing the theme further with bold, imaginative designs.

Despite the wide range of artistic voices, the deck maintains cohesion through its shared concept and carefully designed elements, including a striking tuck box by Andy Kurovets. The tuck beutifully blends musical imagery: turntables, instruments, speakers, and dancers, with layered foiling and embossing... creating a high-end presentation that reflects the energy of the project.

Three main editions are on offer on Kickstarter: Just for Fun, Only for Fun, and To the Sky... are available in both Premium and Ultra formats. The Premium versions are non-gilded, while the Ultra editions feature numbered seals and metallic gilded edges in copper, silver, or gold.

All versions include holographic foil accents on both the faces and backs, enhancing the visual impact with shifting light and color.

Printed by King Star and pledge starts at $18 on Kickstarter.
