Fulton’s October V2 Playing Cards: A Haunting Sequel 12 Years in the Making

Twelve years after the release of the original Fulton’s October, one of the most iconic Halloween-themed decks ever produced, artist Steven Noble and designer Brad Fulton have reunited to conjure an all-new sequel.

Fulton’s October V2 Playing Cards First Edition revives the spirit of the original while pushing its eerie artistry into bold new territory. Renowned for his scratchboard technique, Steven Noble brings a chilling yet playful hand-illustrated style to the deck, capturing the spirit of the afterlife and the mischief of Halloween.

The card backs feature a bold black border framing a Jack-O’-Lantern character who returns from the first edition—this time clutching his old companions in skeletal camaraderie. Every number and letter on the cards has been painstakingly redrawn in a bone-inspired typeface dubbed the “Fulton Font,” giving the entire deck an organic, skeletal rhythm. The courts and Jokers lean further into this skeletal aesthetic, delivering a visual identity that is both macabre and whimsical, perfectly embodying Fulton’s October universe.

The tuck box itself is a piece of art, with custom illustrations, deep embossing, and a fully illustrated interior. Opening it reveals an all-new cemetery scene designed as a tribute to Fulton’s longtime friend, actor Tony Todd, immortalized within the deck as the “Candyman” in his afterlife.

Also, the limited edition inversed interior art boxes are available. Only 66 were produced, each individually numbered and somes with a numbered tombstone seal. The deck inside features the standard October V2 cards.

Printed in China on Premium Thin Cardistry Stock and available now on Fulton's Playing Cards for $20.

Wallace Playing Cards by Kings Wild Project

The story of Scotland’s independence is not merely written in ink, it’s etched in stone, sung through the glens, and carried on the Highland winds. At its heart stands William Wallace, the Guardian of Scotland, whose defiance against tyranny sparked a flame that would burn for generations.

Kings Wild Project's Wallace Playing Cards reimagines this legendary struggle through art. Each card is illustrated in a medieval woodcut style, echoing the manuscripts and carvings of the age.

Within the suits live the heroes and betrayers of the Wars of Independence: Wallace and his beloved Marion Braidfute, Andrew Moray, Robert the Bruce, and Sir James “The Black” Douglas , facing Edward “Longshanks” and his heirs in an eternal contest of will, courage, and destiny.

Now on Kickstarter, two editions bring the legend to life. The Alba Edition is rendered in bold monochrome, its stark design reflecting the unyielding resolve of Scotland’s defenders.

The Caledonia Edition illuminates the same imagery in rich medieval color- golds, reds, and greens that capture the vitality and valor of the nation itself.
