From Eon, a branch of Room One Cards, comes a new chapter in the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World Collection... The Temple of Artemis at Ephesus Playing Cards. This release continues Eon’s mission to create timeless, beautiful, and functional cards that celebrate art, culture, and history.

Inside, each card in the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus deck reimagines the sacred architecture and artistry of the ancient wonder. Intricate illustrations, inspired by Ionic columns and Greek ornamentation, flow across the deck in a palette of ivory, gold, and stone hues. The cards shimmer with elegance, evoking the sunlight that once danced upon the temple’s marble façade. This is not merely a deck — it is a work of devotion to human artistry and myth.
Two editions are available during the Kickstarter campaign: the Standard Edition and the Special Edition. Both are presented in an embossed and hot-foiled die-cut window tuck box, an architectural showcase in itself. The window reveals a glimpse of the legendary temple within, with even the interior of the box printed in exquisite detail.
The Standard Edition features bold pips placed in unique compositions, enhancing each card’s visual balance and rhythm. The courts depict figures of the Greek pantheon rendered in Eon’s distinct two-way style, radiating classical grace.
The Special Edition elevates the experience further, incorporating cold foiling on select number and court cards. Each divine figure gleams with subtle metallic highlights, creating a luminous effect that shifts beautifully with the light.

The back design draws directly from the temple’s ornate architecture, an interlaced frame of Ionic pillars and floral motifs reminiscent of Corinthian detail. In the Special Edition, the design comes to life through cold foiling that shimmers like sunlight reflecting across marble. Spread or fan the cards, and you’ll witness a glimmering illusion of ancient stone and divine geometry.
Printed by Room One and pledge starts at $14 on Kickstarter.
