The Oxalis V4 Leaf Edition playing cards is the fourth chapter in the beloved plant-inspired deck series by Oxalis Cards, celebrating the quiet beauty of nature. Drawing inspiration from the Oxalis Tetraphylla, known for its distinctive four-leaf pattern and association with luck, this latest Kickstarter campaign captures its charm with a fresh green palette.

Inside, every element of the deck—back design, pips, aces, jokers, and even a new Queen of Hearts—is fully custom, with subtle nods to the heart-shaped leaflets of the Oxalis plant. 

The tuck box features elegant embossing and two types of foil, blending refinement with simplicity. 

For the first time in the series, Oxalis introduces a Borderless Edition, printed in a limited run of 500. This version features a clean, white tuck case and edge-to-edge back design, offering a refined visual flow during flourishes and fanning.

For collectors, the Gold Holo Edition, limited to just 200 decks, is an exclusive variant that includes gilded edges, die-cut details, and a numbered seal, with the Oxalis logo cut into the tuck box for a striking finish.

Cammeo Playing Cards Returns with New Edition on Kickstarter

The Cammeo V2 Playing Cards by Oxalis Cards returns on Kickstarter four years after the first edition, in collaboration with Murphy’s Magic. Inspired by the ancient craft of cammeo making—an intricate art of hand-engraving shells—this deck pays tribute to a timeless tradition passed down through generations of artisans. The heart of this craft lies in Torre del Greco, Italy, where cammeo jewelry is meticulously carved using an iron tool called a bulin, transforming shells of varying colors into miniature works of art.

For this second edition, the design and features have been carefully refined through months of study and collaboration with master artisans. While staying true to the essence of the first edition released in 2021, the new version introduces enhanced details, improved patterns, and richer textures, ensuring an even more immersive and elegant experience.

The back design varies across editions, each featuring different colors and intricate printing. The court cards retain their inspiration from the first edition but now showcase reimagined clothing sculpted to reflect cammeo artistry.

Every ace is adorned with a carefully crafted cammeo, while the pips and jokers have been completely redesigned, leaving the identity of the enigmatic Joker figure a mystery.

The tuck box has been entirely transformed, embracing a minimal yet vintage aesthetic with premium card stock, foil detailing, embossing, and intricate die-cut elements. Special Signature Editions elevate the design further, incorporating gilding, unique numbered seals, and precision-cut elements that form delicate ornamental accents.

Turris Octava Playing Cards Enters Final 3 Days

Now on Kickstarter, the Turris Octava Playing Cards by Oxalis Cards draw inspiration from the historic city of Turris Octava, a place shrouded in maritime tradition and mystery. Designed with a bold minimalist aesthetic, the decks come in three unique editions: Coral, Turquoise, and Golden Ocean.

The Coral edition captures warm tones of copper and red, while the Turquoise edition brings vibrant shades of blue to life. For those seeking luxury, the Golden Ocean edition elevates the collection with gold accents, metallic inks, and pearlescent card stock, offering a truly premium experience.

Each deck is 100% custom, with intricate designs on the card backs, courts, aces, and jokers, all reflecting the rich maritime heritage of the city.

The Coral and Turquoise editions are limited to 1,000 decks each, featuring stunning tuck boxes crafted from pearlescent cardstock, enhanced with double foil and embossing. The Gilded editions, limited to 300 copies each, add further refinement with gilded edges, die-cut tuck boxes, and individually numbered seals.

Cammeo Playing Cards- Less Than 8 Hours on Kickstarter!

Less than 8 hours remaining on Kickstarter! Cammeo playing cards by Oxalis Cards are inspired by "the cameo", a jewel made through the engraving of a stratified stone (usually onyx) or a shell, in particular the Cypraecassis rufa, Cassis madascarensis and Cassis cornuta. According to the Kickstarter campaign page,

These shells of the family of Cassis have the surface formed by two layers of different colors, which allows isolating clearly from the bottom of the figure in relief. Cameos have a rich history with many variations and different meanings. The origins date back to Egypt in 15.000 BC where petroglyphs or figures carved into the rock, were used to record events.

The deck is fully custom, from the beautiful court cards, card backs aces to the pips and jokers. The card backs feature a mirrored design prominently representing the Cammeo sculpture. The hourglass on the back design symbolizes time and the patience that is needed for the creation of the scul[ture, and the time in which was found in the first cameo. 

The beautiful courts are probably the highlight of the deck. Each Cameo has been carved on the shell and then integrate with completely redesigned figures. The cameos are actual works of contemporary and ancient artists. 

The Aces are truly a work of art, with elaborated and beautiful design elements embedded. One of the most significant representations of this theme is the Jokers. They are created using the face of the joker and of a person (real) who keeps in his hands the fundamental elements of this art.



Three editions are on offer during the Kickstarter campaign- Standard, Silver, and Gold. The highlight will be the Gold Edition deck, crated specifically for the card collectors in mind. 

The deck features stunning gold foil on the card backs and fully custom face cards. The tuck box is also adorned with gold foil both exterior and interior. Only 200 will be produced.
