Kickstarter: V-Twin Aristo Playing Cards

After the success of their first deck, Aristo Steampunk Playing Cards, the team at Aristo is back with a brand new deck, V-Twin. The deck is an artistic expression of the biker lifestyle, a short story depicting the so-called "Hell's Angels" in 52 hand-drawing playing cards.

The design of the deck is the representation of motorcycle clubs in today's society, that is largely based upon clothing style that originated in outlaw motorcycle clubs, some of which is now considered high fashion: denim vests, motorcycle boots, and leather, in general, is hugely popular in the world of fashion today. According to the Kickstarter campaign page,

The vision for the artwork was to convey the attitude of a biker who is living life to the fullest and embracing their wild and crazy side, despite their age. Custom motorbikes and garment are, for good reason, all the rage at the moment. If you ask any true rider, the joy of a motorbike isn't simply limited to the ride, it's also the endless hours spent in the garage or driveway working on the metal baby.

Fully custom, the traditional face cards design has been given a twist. The court cards feature hand-illustrated Jacks, Queens, and Kings in custom biker clothing, tattoos and their love for motorcycle and the open road.

The attention to detail and meticulous illustration of the mechanical parts on the card back is exceptional. The design has a distinctive modern style, fused with retro cues! Certainly eye-catching.

Instead of the Ace of Spades, the majestic Ace of Hearts is regarded as one of the most important cards in the deck: the V-Twin treasure. Number cards have been designed with smooth and clean lines to give faces a sleek look. While the pips look simple and elegant as possible but still recognizable and usable in magic routines.

Kings Wild Americana Playing Cards

Kings Wild Americanas are now available on kingswildproject.com. This gorgeous deck celebrates designer Jackson Robinson's love of the United States and the nostalgic memories he has growing up going to 4th of July Celebrations.

The deck sports a red, white, and patriotic blue colorway with custom card back reminiscent of the Tally-Ho circle back, Ace of Spades and Jokers. The court cards are Kings Wild Standards and feature the same color scheme as the tuck and card backs.

The tuck cases are beautifully letterpressed by Clove St. The Limited Edition tucks features embossing and stunning hot-pressed gold foiling. Also, the Limited Edition will be numbered and sealed with a gold foil seal.
