Monolith Zodiac Playing Cards by Thirdway Industries

Monolith Playing Cards series is well-known as Thirdway Industries‘s best series. Based on “2001: A Space Odyssey”, Gio combines both aspects of Mythology and Astrology. Originally was a successfully crowd-funded project, and the series continues with more varieties. Monolith Zodiac Playing Cards is the latest addition to the series.

Monolith Zodiac Playing Cards is inspired by the 12 Zodiac Signs – a set of 12-star constellations that are arranged within a single sky belt. It features a set of brand-new artworks on both the tuck box and the cards.

The tuck box features a premium black matte paper stock with two layers of foil – peacock blue and holographic foil. It’s a great combination, presenting a grand artwork that is designed to look like ancient monoliths. The box will be sealed with a custom numbered seal done in holographic foil.

The cards are printed with metallic and neon inks. The metallic ink will shine under bright light, while neon inks will glow up when illuminated with a black light. On both sides, there is a silver PET foil background, which will enhance the artwork even more and create a crazy yet beautiful effect. The cards are gilded with peacock blue holographic foil – it shines like the flash of a peacock’s tail.

The Courts are the centrepiece of this edition. All of them feature the 12 Zodiacs, and they are grouped based on the 4 elements that are associated with them. While it shares the same art style as the other Monoliths of the series, these artworks are completely different. The two Jokers feature extra characters: one shows Polaris, the female deity of the Northern Star – and the other one shows Ophiucus, the Snake Bearer; the 13th Zodiac.

The main edition of Monolith Zodiac is Zodiac Prime. The other edition is Zodiac Aurus, which features gold holographic foil on both the tuck box and the cards as well as its gilding – which creates an even crazier effect. Zodiac Aurus is only available through TWI Patreon.

The Great Creator Earth Edition Playing Cards

The Great Creator Earth Edition playing cards is a collaboration between Widakk Design and Riffle Shuffle. The intricate back design features symmetrical decorations of the Greek architecture surrounding the borders and at the center, lies two guardian lions.

The number cards follow the same classic pattern as regular number cards. The Earth suit symbols are infused with beautiful flower petals with gold borders surrounding them. Every single one of the custom court cards holds an item that helps the process of creating the world. The bold Ace of Spades is guarded by two ancient guardians side by side, with the spade symbol in the center.

The deck is kept in a stunning tuck box featuring a Green and Gold hot foil stamp with precision embossing. Also, the inner tuck case is printed with sophisticated Green and Gold hot foil stamp artwork.

The deck’s tuck case is truly captivating! Crafted from black uncoated paper and adorned with four exquisite foil colors: antique gold/copper, silver, white, and deep aqua blue. Embossed details gives it a touch of elegance and class, while the artwork seamlessly blends with the watch and playing cards.

The back design of the cards takes inspiration from the iconic Art Deco style, meticulously capturing the intricacies of watch dials. It pays tribute to an era of opulence and sophistication with its ornate design, geometric patterns, bold lines, and an alluring color scheme.

The Echo of God Cthulhu Mythos Playing Cards is a chilling deck that delves into the heart of 

Lovecraftian horror. This Kickstarter project is a collaborative effort between Vermilion Collection and Silver Key Society, known for their dedication to creating Cthulhu-themed products.
