Virtuoso Moments - Rain Flower Stone NanJing Edition

Before the release of the Virts P1 SG deck, there was this exclusive release at Cardistry-Con in Nanjing, China few months ago. Drawing inspiration from the breathtaking Yuhua Stone, a natural agate unique to Nanjing, this special release captures the vibrant colors and fluid patterns of one of China’s most celebrated gemstones.

Known for its distinctive beauty, the Rain Flower Stone has long symbolized harmony and artistry — qualities now translated into cardistry through Virtuoso’s signature design style.

This limited deck embodies both local heritage and contemporary visual performance. Its design flows with the same organic rhythm found in the stone itself, creating mesmerizing displays in motion.

Produced in China and priced at $30 from resellers. Available only through offline sales, the Rain Flower Stone Nanjing Edition is an exceptionally rare release.

The Virts Unveils Virtuoso P1 SG Deck

The Virts has announced the launch of the Virtuoso P1 SG, a special edition deck created to honor Singapore’s 60th anniversary. Co-founder Huron Low revealed the design to the brand’s launch list, highlighting both its symbolic meaning and unique cardistry features.

The back design of the deck draws inspiration from Singapore’s transformation from a small “Little Red Dot” into a city of skyscrapers. At its center sits a bold crimson circle, surrounded by a striking PRISM pattern. Unlike previous Virtuoso releases, the PRISM extends all the way to... and even beyond the edges of the card, symbolizing how the nation expanded beyond its limitations through unity and resilience.

The design flows seamlessly from back to face, forming tapered red bands that frame circular arrays. When the cards are spun, the lines animate like fan blades, while spreads reveal blooming patterns reminiscent of traditional Chinese fans.

The most striking feature, however, comes when the deck is spread with its special portrait Flag Card: together, the cards transform into the Singapore flag. A step-by-step video tutorial has been produced so that even newcomers can easily achieve the effect.

Each deck comes with four Art Cards that deepen the storytelling experience. Inspired by classic digital watch displays, they form the number “SG60” to commemorate the nationwide celebration. On their reverse sides, collectors will find a Cover Card, a Story Card detailing the deck’s inspiration, a Flag Card for multiple flag transformations, and a Color-Block Card for simplified displays of the national symbol.

Because official permission to use the Singapore flag expires at the end of September 2025, the Virtuoso P1 SG will only be available during the anniversary celebrations. After a decade of waiting, the original SG50 version was cancelled in 2015 due to lack of approval, Virtuoso finally realized its long-held vision.

The deck will be available for $18 for a limited time on 25 September, 10am (EDT).

The Virtuoso Sea Glass Playing Cards

Huron has recently teased the latest Virts deck on their mailing list. Virtuoso Sea Glass is a new deck designed exclusively for Cardistry, featuring "Adaptive Aesthetics" that enhances visual expression. Unlike traditional decks made for magicians or games, Sea Glass emphasizes fluid, dynamic designs inspired by real sea glass. The design is reminisce to ENTRY's first design released back in 2018.

The latest Virts design showcase hand-illustrated forms—The Rock, The Pebble, The Petal, and The Fin to create a seamless edge-to-edge pattern, eliminating the need for traditional borders.

Each element adds rhythm and motion, transforming even simple card flourishes into eye-catching displays. Fans and spreads reveal shifting patterns, creating effects like blooming petals and flowing waves. The Fin's design extends from the card backs to the faces, forming a cohesive, three-dimensional look.

Sea Glass is a bold departure from standard cards, with no numbers, suits, or court figures—it's pure visual art meant for Cardistry.

Ready for immediate shipment, this deck embodies Virtuoso’s mission to push Cardistry into "Card Artistry," offering a unique, uncompromising design for enthusiasts. Available now for $15 on The Virts Online shop.

A Look at the Secret Virtuoso OC I & II Playing Cards

Earlier this week at a private event held by The Virts, the Virtuoso OC I & II playing cards were secretly released. The new collection looks familiar and is inspired by their previous releases, containing the iconic geometric card back design crafted for cardistry.

Huron Low mentioned that only a few people on their mailing list received the special invitation email and if you were not fortunate to be part of the event, Huron mentioned that he doesn’t know if he’ll ever release this special deck to the public. This release is a “beta” opportunity for a non-beta deck the Virts have spent months designing.

The online store was open for 72 hours and a deck was priced at $14.

The NEW Virts Deck Revealed! Virtuoso P1 Foundations (Crimson Edition)

In a series of drip emails in the past few weeks, Huron Low from the Virts has revealed their new deck- Virtuoso P1 Foundations playing cards. According to Huron,

The Virtuoso P1 Foundations packs our biggest design innovations into our smallest deck release ever.
No exact number is given but the new Virts deck will be the smallest run size of any Virtuoso deck they’ve ever produced — even smaller than Launch Edition. Also, there will not be a public launch for this deck, nor will this be offered to any wholesalers or dealers.

Virtuoso P1 Foundations (Crimson Edition) is an extremely exclusive collection of Virtuoso decks created especially for the Virts closest customers. This deck draws from where it all began — the Launch Edition Virtuoso deck.

Available for pre-order for the next 48 hours for $19 per deck. Production of the Virtuoso P1 Foundations is expected to be completed in early November and the decks are expected to be shipped by end of November.

The New Virtuoso P1 Deck Now on Private Pre-Order!

The Virts have just unveiled Virtuoso P1; the first special edition Virtuoso deck, and the first of Virtuoso’s brand new Perspective Series. The deck sports a brand new PRISM back design — an Adaptive Aesthetics innovation inspired by the way a prism splits light into a spectrum of color. According to The Virts on social media,
The deck is a celebration of the past fused with our vision of Cardistry’s future, the Virtuoso P1 visually accentuates the art in ways both nostalgic and new.
PRISM draws from the most iconic elements of past Virtuoso decks and seamlessly merges them into a single futuristic design. It then transforms the flat surface of each card into a three-dimensional array. The design is easily recognizable and gives cardists a visual connection to the brand. The familiar design paired with the use of shades and shadows gives the card back a sense of depth.

The Virtuoso P1 is available now for pre-order for a special price of $19 (instead of $22), as well as your first P1 for free! Note that the production of the Virtuoso P1 might take up to four months, followed by the process of packing and shipping. This means that orders are estimated to reach your doorstep in January 2021 — about 5 months from now.
