World Heritage Playing Cards Celebrate UNESCO Landmarks

 

52 MUSÉE has launched World Heritage Playing Cards on Kickstarter, a premium collection inspired by iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites from around the globe.

The series beautifully reimagines famous cultural and natural landmarks through richly illustrated anthropomorphic artwork, with every card enhanced by holographic cold-foil printing that creates shimmering, light-reactive effects. Rather than offering literal depictions, the designs reinterpret each site through symbolic storytelling while maintaining a cohesive artistic style across the collection.

The collection comprises FIVE themed decks, each exploring a different aspect of world heritage. The flagship HERITAGE edition serves as the complete anthology, bringing together artwork from the entire series around the theme of humanity's cultural legacy and space exploration. 

MEGA focuses on monumental engineering achievements, TERRA celebrates the world's great natural landscapes, ECHOES pays tribute to ancient civilizations with the Great Pyramid of Giza as its central inspiration, and GRACES highlights classical religious architecture, led by St. Peter's Basilica.

Each deck features fully custom artwork, holographic cold-foil detailing, embossed tuck boxes, black-core linen-finish cardstock, and themed Aces, Jokers, court cards, and card backs inspired by the featured landmarks.

For collectors, the campaign also includes a five-deck bundle housed in a premium slipcase, alongside a deluxe collector's box set limited to just 500 worldwide. The deluxe edition includes all five decks with exclusive gilded edges and premium presentation packaging.

Yokai Parade Playing Card on Kickstarter

Yokai Parade Playing Cards by 52 MUSÉE and Wuli Growth Studio is a premium illustrated collection inspired by Hyakki Yagyō, one of Japan’s most iconic supernatural legends. Drawing from traditional folklore, ukiyo-e art, and centuries of yokai mythology, the project reimagines 50 legendary spirits through intricate artwork and refined luxury production.

The series explores five major themes of yokai culture- Seimei, Tengu, Shuten-doji, Hannya, and Yuki-onna... each represented by its own deck and visual identity. 

From guardian mountain spirits and demon kings to vengeful ghosts and snow apparitions, every edition captures a different aspect of Japanese folklore while maintaining a cohesive artistic vision rooted in ethereal ink-wash aesthetics and Oriental design.

Each deck features fully custom illustrations, court cards and jokers, and elaborate tuck boxes enhanced with embossing, cold foil, and selective holographic detailing. The deck offers a visually immersive tribute to the mystery, beauty, and enduring cultural legacy of Japan’s supernatural folklore.

Mucha & Van Gogh V2 Playing Cards

The world of fine art meets high-end playing card design once again in the latest release from 52 MUSÉE, TCC Playing Cards' art-inspired sub-brand. Known for transforming classic works into tactile, collectible decks, the brand's newest additions, the Mucha and Van Gogh V2 editions are visually appealing.

Following the success of their earlier decks based on Monet and other iconic artists, this latest release brings the Art Nouveau elegance of Alphonse Mucha and the passionate brushwork of Vincent van Gogh to life through laser holographic printing, pearl foil tuck boxes, and a level of detail rarely seen in modern playing cards.

Mucha V2: Art Nouveau in Motion

Van Gogh V2: Color, Emotion, and Light

Returning in an eye-catching sequel, Van Gogh V2 captures the intensity of one of the most influential figures in modern art. Known for his bold use of color and emotive brushwork, Van Gogh’s essence is translated into a holographic medium that mirrors the expressive power of his canvas work.

The standard edition features the iconic Sunflowers on the tuck box, accented with gold foil detailing inspired by Dutch architecture. 

The gilded collector’s edition, limited to 500 decks, uses Van Gogh’s 1887 self-portrait—rendered in pointillist brilliance—as its central piece. This edition includes 14 self-portraits and other rare imagery that give insight into the artist’s inner world.

Both versions continue the brand’s signature side-drawer, dual-layer die-cut tuck design, transforming the unboxing into a reverent art experience.

Van Gogh & Kuniyoshi Playing Cards by 52 MUSÉE

52 MUSÉE is back with another stunning fusion of art and craftsmanship. This time with the Van Gogh & Kuniyoshi playing cards on Kickstarter. This collection pays homage to the masterpieces of Vincent van Gogh and Utagawa Kuniyoshi, blending their iconic works with luxurious holographic foil and intricate designs.

The Van Gogh series features vibrant interpretations of The Starry Night, Sunflowers, and his self-portraits, enhanced by holographic techniques to bring these classic paintings to life.
