Ellusionist has just announced the release of the Red Cohorts V2... this time with a thinner, more durable stock! Like the Blue Cohorts, the new Reds will be printed on Cartamundi's luxury E7 stock, they feel as good as they perform.

The Red Cohorts have a very detailed and intricate classic design. This vintage casino-style deck was designed with simplicity in mind. From the classic semi-custom court cards to the nostalgic thin-border back design, Cohorts were engineered to look unassuming on the card table or in the hands of a card mechanic. Also, hidden within the lines of the intricate back design are markings undetectable to the untrained eye. Once you find out, it is easily readable by any magician, card mechanic or mentalist out there.

The tuck box has a very simplistic yet classic look that compliments the back design very well. Each deck comes with 52 cards, 2 jokers, 1 alternate colour double-backer and a duplicate Queen of spades (for obvious magical reasons).

Alex Pandrea's New Winter NOC Playing Cards

Here's another new NOC release by Alex Pandrea. After a year of teasing, the new Winter NOC series has been released and features a soothing pastel color palette and a cool back story.

From the description on the product page,

America, 1608: The North Ontario Company, or NOC, established fur trades in and around New England and Lake Ontario with the natives of the land. They traded a variety of goods such as knives, hatchets, and beads to the Indians for fur and meat. One of the most sought after recreational goods traded were playing cards, hard to find at the time. A prevalent frontiersman during this era is on the hunt for a certain rare and particular item. This is where our story begins...

Similar to previous NOC releases, the deck features a minimal back design with thin borders and standard face cards designed for magicians who prefer standard faces as they are familiar and easily recognizable by the audience.

2020 Kings Wild Playing Cards Subscriptions Now Open!

Circus No. 47 Reproduction Playing Cards

Around 1896, the non-standard “Circus No. 47” Playing Cards was released along several Stage decks and Transformation decks by the newly incorporated United States Playing Card Company.

As Hochman wrote of this “dashing” circus-themed deck, the “staid” traditional courts are replaced with ringmasters, clowns, queens and circus scene backs. This reproduction deck has been digitally recreated from scratch by Azured Ox and produced by Will Roya.

This fun all-purpose deck features easy to read large indices and 12 interesting individual courts. The original deck only included 1 joker but the team at PlayingcardDecks added extra joker for modern gameplay.
