Sip, play, and celebrate with Sake Neko Playing Cards, a whimsical fusion of Japanese culture, playful cats, and the art of sake designed by Hyuga & Mijiko. Inspired by a peaceful spring day under blooming sakura trees and the visit of a curious calico cat, this deck captures the charm of Japan’s lucky felines and the joy of sharing a drink.

There are two unique editions available during the Kickstarter campaign: the Classic Paper Deck and the Waterproof Coaster Deck. The Classic Deck comes in a luxurious gold-foil tuck case inspired by premium sake bottles, complete with embossed calligraphy and an adorable 3D Sake Neko badge. 

Each card is printed with vibrant orange foil, offering not only beauty but also knowledge... every number card shares fun facts and expert tips about sake, from brewing methods and rice origins to ideal serving temperatures. 

The court cards depict twelve Bakeneko (mythical Japanese spirit cats) dressed as geisha, monks, and samurai, each embodying the charm and mystery of folklore. Gilded gold edges and festive cold foiling make this deck sparkle like a sake toast.

The Waterproof Coaster Deck brings playfulness and practicality together with 52 circular PVC cards that double as coasters. Each card features adorable copper-foiled Bakeneko artwork and sake trivia, perfect for parties or relaxed evenings with friends. The round design is easy to shuffle, splash-proof, and made for fun drinking games... flip a court card, take a sip, and let the night flow.

The Big Deal: Raymond Chandler / Philip Marlowe Playing Cards

Step into the noir world of Raymond Chandler and his iconic detective Philip Marlowe with this officially licensed collectible deck, designed by Jack Brutus Penny. Inspired by The Big Sleep and The Long Goodbye, these decks bring the seedy glamour and morally grey characters of classic detective stories to your hands.

The decks feature fully custom artwork by acclaimed artists, including Ilias Kyriazis (inking) and Cris Peter (color), adapted from the graphic novel Trouble is My Business. 

Each card forms part of a murder-mystery narrative, with court cards depicting noir archetypes, from femme fatales to detectives, and all cards piecing together to tell a story.

Two editions are available during the Kickstarter campaign: Technicolor Edition: Explosive, vibrant tones create mood-driven suits. Custom card backs, card-face foiling, and detailed interior tuck box foiling add a luxurious finish.
