Collection: Takefu by Eric Duan

Designed by Eric Duan and Steven Tang, the Takefu deck draws its inspiration from ancient Chinese folklore and a unique imagery of Chinese Warriors.

The thing that attracted me to this deck was just that unique look, the beautifully artistic pip design has that "painted" look to them and the courts have a spherical blur effect, giving the image a look of motion. Centered in the sphere is an iconic Chinese Warrior arch type in various stances and wardrobe. The deck also includes a custom Ace of Spades and 2 custom Jokers.

I really like the strong Chinese design elements and striking back design, although the one way image may not please some, a very well designed deck that won't put a strain on your wallet.

Collection: Blue Blood Redux by Uusi Studios

Blue Blood Redux was another chance for collectors who may have missed out on the Original Blue Blood release. Redux was much the same deck as the original with some minor changes consisting of a new tuck box image and some changes to the court cards.

They also added unique diptych cards and two new Aces. Redux was not meant to be one of the planned six-deck series, but more of a “companion deck” to Blue Blood.

Another beautiful and unique deck from Uusi, if nothing else, their series spans very different looks and concepts.

Collection: Truth Garden by Alloys Studios

The Truth Garden series consists of 4 decks, appropriately numbered No.1-4. The 1st two in the series are a bit of a challenge to get your hands on, but No.3 & 4 are out there with a little searching. I like the clean floral pattern on the series and it's unique "Classic" courts.

The decks also have custom pips, Ace of Spades, Jokers and a subtle "Watermark" design on the backs.

Clean, simple and unique.  *No.3 is shown and No.4 is a Black inverse of the white deck.
