Cardistry: Cardistry Touch Origin Wins the 2017 Sybil Deck of the Year Award

We want to congratulate our friends at Cartamundi Cards and the team at Cardistry Touch for taking home the Sybil "Deck of the Year" at Cardistry-Con 2017, Los Angeles! The ORIGIN deck was nominated by the cardistry community prior to the con and gained the top vote by attendees of the con.

Other decks in the category were the AEY Catcher deck by Lukas Aey, Odyssey by Sergio Roca, Stripe by Dealersgrip and Isometric v2 by Kenneth Aidan Foo.

Cardistry: Cardistry-Con, Los Angeles Day 1

Cardists from all around the world descend on L.A. this weekend for Cardistry-Con 2017. This will be, by far, the biggest cardistry event. Ever! Organized by Dan and Dave and Cardistry Touch. Cardistry-Con is a three-day conference devoted to the mesmerizing art of cardistry.

On July 7, cardists from all over the world gather and explore the limitless expressive potential of an ordinary deck of playing cards… and have an absolute blast together! The event includes talks, exclusive video screenings, live performances, Q&As and a chance to jam with the world's best cardist!

Deck View: Cardistry-Con 2017 Playing Cards

Vibrant. Borderless. Cardistry.

The Cardistry-Con 2017 deck produced by Art of Play and designed by Benji Taylor was given out to the participants during Cardistry-Con held in Los Angeles this weekend and currently available on artofplay.com for $15.

The cards feature a custom borderless back design and Ace of Spades with standard court cards to match the overall color palette of the deck. The tuck features wrap-around design consistent with the card back design.

Printed by USPCC. Only 2500 decks were made and they will never be reprinted. This exclusive deck view is provided by Edo Huang (@edohuang).

Cardistry: Zach Mueller Releases New Fontaine Deck, "Carrots by Anwar Carrots Edition"

This year, Zach Mueller already has two Fontaine releases to his name and is about to launch his third deck, 'Carrots by Anwar Carrots edition Fontaines'. The playful deck is a collaboration with Anwar Carrots (@carrotsbyanwarcarrots)and spots an orange colorway with subtle carrot images on the card backs with the iconic Fontaine 'f'.

However, this release is in-store only at @roundtwohollywood 6th July 11am. Check out images of the deck below:
