Deck View: Marble Playing Cards

Nature. Texture. Marble.

Art of Play in collaboration with Bloc Playing Cards released an exclusive limited edition version of their latest surface, Marble. This is the third in Bloc Playing Cards' series of decks inspired by nature and designed to look like blocks of natural texture.

I was hoping for more customization but like its predecessor, the deck features standard faces, custom Ace of Spades and a borderless one-way textured back design. However to make up for it, the deck is packaged in a beautiful letterpress-printed tuck box featuring gold foil inlays throughout the marble texture.

Printed by the United States Playing Card Company. Available now from Art of Play for $18.

News: Hudson Playing Cards by Theory11

Designed by Dan Gretta and produced by Theory11, Hudson Playing Cards are inspired by a historic factory on the bank of the Hudson River in New York dating back to 1856.

With unrivaled quality, snap, feel, and finish, Hudson Playing Cards were the gold standard for poker players and family games alike. Thousands of decks once crossed this mythical assembly line - and then, as quickly as it emerged, it vanished in 1871 with the rise of the New York Consolidated Card Company.

A legend lost to history - until today. theory11 reimagines Hudson Playing Cards. The timeless design is not only breathtaking but intricate, and detailed - with a custom Ace of Spades, Joker, back design, and tuck case packaging.
