Kickstarter: TOP ACES of WWII Playing Cards by Jody Eklund

Designed by Jody Eklund, the TOP ACES of WWII playing cards is a custom deck intricately illustrated as a dedication to the many daredevils of WWII. The deck was funded in 2 days on Kickstarter and is a follow-up to the last year's successful Top Aces of WWI where Jody paid homage to the many daredevils of WWI.

On the inspiration of the deck, Jody told Kardify,

Ever since my grandfather first made a drawing of his crop-duster plane and I was in the military, I have loved two things, The History of Aviation and using illustration to help communicate a really cool story. Top Aces of World War II combines those two things and allows me to pay homage to some really brave people and use illustration to bring those stories to life.

Top Aces of WWII is all about the heroes that flew in WWII. Jody chose all of the Top Aces from each country that were represented in World War II. Fully custom, each court, ace, and joker will have original illustrations.

The deck is packaged in a linen- textured tuck box featuring embossing and elegant hot foil. Printed by United States Playing Card Co. on Air Cushion Embossed Card Finish with Premium Casino Grade Paper Stock. Pledge starts at $14 on Kickstarter.

Also available exclusively during the campaign is the Limited Edition TOP ACES of WWI. This deck will be printed by the Legends Playing Card Co. on their popular classic finish.

Deck View: Jetsetter (Premier Edition) Playing Cards in Restricted Red

The Jetsetter Playing Cards: Premier Edition are inspired by the classic casino and vintage airline decks of the past. The Restricted Red Edition is inspired by the most secret airline in the United States that transports employees of Area 51 from Las Vegas directly to the highly-guarded top secret facility.

The back design sports a deep red colorway and features the repeated airplane pattern along with the Jetsetter logo in the traditional two-way casino style design. Cardistry: The 3 Major Changes Included in the Latest Edition of Technique Playing Cards

Technique Playing Cards is an innovative deck conceptualized by Chris Severson that is designed specifically to help cardists create Cardistry instantly! The basic use is to pick one of the five colors on the back and that is your contact point. Each time you break off a new packet, you reveal a new back design and also a new location for your chosen color, forcing you to grab only that color(s) and putting you into random positions every time you break off a new packet!

The latest edition of Technique Playing Cards includes three major changes over the original deck.

1. Continuation of the colored border on to the face of the cards. This allows you to continue following the color pattern even when the packets are face up.

2. Addition of pivot contact points like in Flirt type movements.

3. Color change the whole deck with inspiration from the desert. This neutral color pallet goes well with every style when matching your cards with your clothes.
