Kickstarter: Hidden King (Luxury Edition) Playing Cards

The Forbidden King Playing Cards: Luxury Edition is a follow-up to Bomb Magic's 2017 deck, with the same name. The artwork is inspired by the Siberian Tiger and features a mirrored card back combine with a hand-illustrated border and an "S" link linking the tigers together.

Currently funding on Kickstarter with less than 3 days remaining, the Hidden Kings are available in four luxury editions- Classic Red, Classic Blue, Rainbow and Copper Foil.

Classic Red and Blue are similar to the original version with the card backs updated with the respective red and blue colorway. From the promo images on the campaign page, the deck features similar artwork across all editions with various color variation and printing techniques.

Inspired by the ancient art of Chinese bronze mirror-making, the Copper Foil Edition is designed to play with the light, giving card flourishes that extra flair. According to the campaign page,

For large area, foil printing is difficult and failure rate is high during production. Most  printers will reject the order, but we’ve done it by our passion.

The Rainbow Edition uilizes a vibrant brightness spectrum to print an impressive 54 colors on the card back, and tuckcase with unique rainbow foiling. It is essentially a unique spectrum foiling, and not laser reflect the rainbow light.

All 4 luxury editions will be feature metallic Red, Blue and Golden inks on the suits and court cards. The decks will be printed by Taiwan Playing Card Co’s soft Luxury Paper Stock with Legendary Finish.
