At first glance the Emerald Tally Ho's by Kings Wild Project may look like a re-color, but nothing could be further from the truth. The Emerald Edition has a completely new and unique back design with a beautiful green and purple color pallet. The Emerald Edition continues the Jackson Robinson Series which began earlier this year with the Scarlett Tally Ho's. Both decks have a visual connection, as well as a family connection and eloquently go together, but at the same time stand alone as individually unique, much like the people who inspired them.

"As an artist, I feel designing cards should always be something more than just putting 56 pieces of paper in a box and call it done. Stories are what inspire me so I try to start every one of my projects with a story to tell. In the case of the Scarlett & Emerald Tally Ho decks, that story is my family. Without getting to sentimental, there is no better inspiration for me than my daughters. They are the reason I do what I do and it is a no brainer for me to create a deck that will give them something to give to their kids one day. That’s why I gave the Legacy Edition the name I did"

The Emerald Tally-Ho’s are scheduled to launch Saturday, May 2nd at 12:00pm Central on Kickstarter. The project will offer a variety of reward tiers appealing to a wide variety of playing card aficionados. Emerald starts with the  Limited Edition for those who just enjoy Jackson Robinson’s work and rounds off with the LTD Emerald Legacy Edition for those seeking the rare and collectable and if you want to keep that Collectable sealed, the project will once again offer display decks at a very attractive price point.

Kickstarter: Kings Wild's Emerald Tally Ho Playing Cards Funded in under 2 Minutes

Following the success of the Scarlett Tally Ho Playing Cards, Kings Wild latest Kickstarter project, the Emerald Tally Ho managed to get its initial funding goal of $15k in under 2 minutes. Emerald starts with the Limited Edition for those who just enjoy Jackson Robinson’s work and rounds off with the very limited Emerald Legacy Edition for those seeking the rare and collectable and if you want to keep that Collectable sealed, display decks are available.

The Emerald Tally Ho deck is inspired by my oldest daughter Claire. The Emerald theme comes from Claire's birthstone. Starting with the same basic design structure, as the Scarlett Tally Hos, the Emerald has a completely redesigned back and tuck. The same limited edition courts have been used with new design and color styles to match the new Emerald theme.

Kings Wild Americana Available for Pre-Order from Today

Kings Wild Shorts subscribers will be able to pre-order the Kings Wild Americana decks from today- Thursday (June 6th) at 12pm central and for non-Kings Wild Shorts subscribers, Saturday (June 8th) at 12pm central.

The deck celebrates designer Jackson Robinson's love of the United States and the nostalgic memories he has growing up going to 4th of July Celebrations.

The Kings Wild Americanas sports a red, white, and patriotic blue colorway with custom card back reminiscent of the Tally-Ho circle back, Ace Spades and Jokers. The court cards are Kings Wild Standards and feature the same color scheme as the tuck and card backs. Definitely a beautiful deck for any table game with friends and family.

Three editions are on offer- the Standard Edition, Limited Edition and Gilded Edition. All three decks are printed by The United States Playing Card Company on crushed Casino Bee Stock and traditionally cut. They have an air-cushioned finished for exceptional handling and play.

The tuck cases are beautifully letterpressed by Clove St. The Limited Edition tucks features embossing and stunning gold hot pressed foiling. Also, the Limited Edition will be numbered and sealed with a gold foil seal.

First Look: Kings Wild Project to Launch Olive Tally-Ho on Kickstarter Today

[Update] Olive Tally-Ho is now LIVE on Kickstarter!

Today on Kickstarter, Kings Wild Project will be launching the fifth deck in the hugely popular KWP Luxury Tally Ho Series, the Olive Edition.

The series has always been a personal one for creator Jackson Robinson and the Olive Edition is no different being dedicated to the newest addition to Jackson Robinson's family, baby girl Olive Graham Robinson, expected next month.

The Olive Edition will be available in limited editions just as the previous 4 editions, including the ultra limited Legacy Edition and gilded Edition (pictured above).

You can expect beautiful features such as an embossed & hot foil stamped tuck case, numbered seals and STUNNING metallic inks on the cards themselves. 3 versions will be offered in the individual to multi-deck reward tiers. We expect these to move fast.

Kickstarter: Black Diamond Tally Ho by Kings Wild Projects

Launching tomorrow on Kickstarter at 12:00pm Central Time, the Third Edition in the hugely popular Tally-Ho series by Jackson Robinson and Kings Wild Projects.

Black Diamond will be printed by The United States Playing Card Company and will also be incorporating their new MetalLuxe Foiling process on the card backs, making the Black Diamonds not only the first fully custom deck to utilize the process, but also the very first all black deck by Kings Wild.

The Black Diamond project consists of only 3 variations this time around. Each with it's own stunning feature.

The Black Diamond Tally Ho - Only 1000 produced and will feature a premium soft touch black tuck with Black foil accents.

The Legacy Editon - The very popular Legacy Edition returns with Black Diamond, Only 50 will be available, the Black Diamond deck will be sealed in a Hand Signed African Wenge wood case.

Tactical Edition - For those looking for the truly unique and collectible, Black Diamond will also feature a weapons grade billet aluminum, hand signed and engraved, card case. Only 10 Tacticle Editions will be available.

All 3 versions feature Bicycle / Aristocrat paper stock, multiple metallic inks as well as the MetalLuxe Foil, and an Embossed Finish.

The Tally Ho brand has been a staple for over a hundred years. Jackson Robinson of Kings Wild Project was given the privilege by the United States Playing Card Company to be one of the first people in their long history to revamp the look and design of Tally Ho from the ground up.

The Kings Wild Blue Tally Ho was given a new iconic back design, gorgeous new tuck case, a beautiful new set of standard court cards and an updated Ace of Spades and Joker design. Incredibly well done!

Collections: Scarlett Tally Ho by Kings Wild Project

Kings Wild Projects has brought us some of the most beautiful, collectable decks in the industry in the last few years. The latest uber collectable offering does not disappoint, the Scarlett Tally Ho’s. Inspired by the iconic brand as well as Jackson Robinson’s daughter (Scarlett), the deck is a beautiful reworking of the classic Tally Ho’s.

The Tuck is a deep red with Gold Foil accents and embossing as well as a “Lattice” like pattern that embellishes the interior of the tuck to complete the custom case. For those with a keen eye, there is also a secret buried within that I’ll leave for you to discover. The cards themselves have completely custom courts with 2 gold metallic ink accents on the face cards as well as 1 gold metallic ink accent on the back design presented in the bold, intricate design style that we’ve come to expect from KWP. The Ace of Spades as well as the Jokers design are homage to the original key card design and concept.

The Scarlett Tally Ho’s were available in 3 variations, the Limited Edition, the Gold Edition and the Legacy Edition. All 3 printed in very limited numbers. The Limited Edition had a print run of 700 decks, the Gold Edition Only 200 decks and featured Gold Gilded edges and the Legacy Edition which featured a Gilded Deck in a Custom wooden slip case which was individually numbered to 50 and signed by Jackson Robinson on a custom seal. For those who cringed at the thought of opening there rewards, display decks were also available with a “Standard” tuck and the same deck within, metallic inks and all.

When Jackson started teasing this deck I was really excited about it, it is Jackson at his best. These decks were geared towards true collectors and while some were none too happy about the cost of adding one of these decks to their collection, they were swallowed up at a feverish pace. This campaign really boiled down to what type of collector you see yourself as and those who are interested in the uber limited made their voices heard. While I find myself questioning Limited offerings more and more each day, the Scarlett Tally Ho’s were no disappointment and delivered quite the bang for your buck in my opinion. So much so that recently a Legacy Edition was sold in upwards of $600.00 on eBay. Would I pay that, probably not, but the Scarlett’s offered everything you would look for in a true collectable, a limited offering and most importantly, a beautiful custom package from tuck to cards. Numbers aren’t what it’s all about, if the deck is lacking a 25 deck print run is meaningless.

I would highly recommend adding these to your collection, although if you missed picking them up during the campaign it will put a dent in your wallet. If nothing else, pick up a display deck and keep an eye out for a Limited Edition to stash away. If you have no financial limitations, definitely go for the gold.

FOUR Kings Wild Releases This Week

On yesterday's Kings Wild Project weekly update, Jackson Robinson announced the release of FOUR new decks this week, including the SURPRISE release of our favorite Christmas deck, Deck the Halls. Releases as follow:

1. Kings Wild Threads Fox Joker Shirt and Deck (Available NOW)

The 3rd installation of the Kings Wild Thread shirt and deck series. These limited print decks feature a matching Tally Ho Fox Joker pattern on the back design which can be viewed through the custom shirt shaped die-cut hole on the tuck case. Jackson used his own standard court and pip designs on this simple yet unique deck of playing cards.

2. 20/20 Worst Year Ever Deck (Available NOW)

A very special deck in honor of the year 2020- “2020 WORST YEAR EVER” deck! The white tuck case comes with a custom seal, a Standard Edition 2020 Vision deck from January KW Shorts Subscription, and a custom Kings Wild DS1 case on the outside.

3. Double Eagle (3rd December)

The Double Eagle Commission deck was designed for Double Eagle Development, LLC. in Fort Worth Texas. The Texas company is owned by Cody and John, two of Jacksons Robinson's closest childhood friends from Canyon, Texas. The deck takes heavy inspiration from the Legal Tender Holographic Edition with a few design changes to suit the desires of Cody, John, and the heart of Double Eagle. 

4. Deck the Halls (4th December)

Yass! Deck the Halls Playing Cards are designed to look like a sweater featuring embroidery artwork on the courts, face cards, Ace of Spades, and new gold foil card backs. Definitely a unique deck for the holiday season and will surely put a smile on someone's face.

The cards themselves have completely custom courts with metallic ink accents on the face cards presented in a gorgeous pearl-pale off-white colorway and subtle metallic ink on the bold back design. Kickstarter: Kings Wild's Scarlett Tally Ho Playing Cards Funded in less than 10 Minutes

Incredible! With no surprise, Kings Wild latest Kickstarter project, the Scarlett Tally Hos has been funded in approximately 10 minutes. These decks are truly unique and is completely limited and produced in very low numbers. Only 700 Limited Edition, 200 Gold Edition (with gold foil gilded edges) and 50 Legacy Edition (with gold foil gilded edges and packaged in a hand made wooded case) will be produced.

The Scarlett Tally Hos are a very special deck to me. I have been wanting to create a strong red deck from the beginnings of my card design days. I have always been drawn to red, so much so that I named my youngest daughter Scarlett from with the deck gets its name and inspiration.

The Pear Edition will be available in limited editions just as the previous 4 versions, including the return of the ultra rare Legacy Edition. Each deck captures its own unique style and design, but work extremely well as connected series.
