ANYONE Unveils Museum Playing Cards Featuring Classic Artworks

Anyone Worldwide has announced on social media their latest release- Museum Playing Cards, a new art-focused deck that transforms a standard 52-card pack into a miniature gallery of classic paintings.

The deck features thirteen artworks distributed across fifty-two cards, with each rank contributing to a larger image that is revealed when the cards are assembled together. The concept turns every suit and rank into part of a connected visual composition rather than a standalone card.

Among the works previewed are John Frederick Kensett's Beacon Rock, Newport Harbor (1857) and Adriaen Coorte's Still Life with Asparagus and Red Currants (1696), highlighting the deck's focus on museum-quality historical art.

According to their social media post, the first edition was released exclusively through the brand's newsletter last weekend. No price was mentioned in that post.

The deck is printed on Thin Crushed stock, pressed for a slimmer profile and livelier snap perfect for flourishes, displays, and rapid handling.

Hypnotic. Collab. Artistic.

Headlong Into Eternity Playing Cards is a collab deck between Anyone Worldwide and New York artist B. Thom Stevenson. The deck features custom artwork in a predominantly black/white colorway of niche yet ubiquitous images on the Ace of Spades, Courts, and Jokers. The card back comes with a hypnotic circle pattern, which is also showcased on the tuck box. The deck was released in early 2019 and quickly sold out.

Dealersgrip and ANYONE Reveals New Decks

Cardistry groups Dealersgrip, and ANYONE have just revealed their new upcoming decks and both are truly unique in their own way.

ENTIRE

Dealersgrip's new deck, ENTIRE (pictured above) continues the abstract art series with an oval-shaped one-way card back. The face cards are looks almost standard with the exception of the jokers and Ace of Spades. From the teaser video (below), the court seems to have an oval-shaped design similar to the card backs. The tuck box features 4 small oval die-cut windows giving a view of the card back design within. This reminds me of Thanos' infinity gauntlet. The deck will be available online on 17th September.



DOT/CAP SPLIT RE-EDITION


On the same day, ANYONE has teased an intriguing image of a new deck series potentially called Anyone Space with the caption 'A1 2017 and 2019 playing cards study'. This looks like a new deck with the one-way split card back design of their Dot and Cap playing cards. Anyone is calling them the DOT/CAP SPLIT RE-EDITION. This has massive potential for future possibilities with multiple combinations of their previously released deck designs. This design will make for truly cool spreads, fans, and displays.

4 months after the launch of the pre-order, Anyone's MIRROR Playing Cards has been delivered! The deck is based on the original Smoke & Mirrors brand by the Buck twins, Dan and Dave back in 2007. The reprint sports a minimalist black tuck box with Dan and Dave's logo prominently featured. The same design is showcased on the card backs. Meanwhile, the face cards are pretty much standard with the exception of the Ace of Spades and Jokers.

Last month, the team at Anyone Worldwide released images of their new deck on Instagram (@anyone). The deck features the artwork of New York artist B. Thom Stevenson (Instagram: @bthomstevenson). From the teaser images, the deck features a predominantly black/white colorway with a hypnotic circle pattern card backs and custom niche yet ubiquitous images on the Ace of Spades, Courts, and Jokers.
No release date has been announced, but the deck has been sighted at B. Thom Stevenson's solo show at Commune Gallery (Tokyo, Japan).

Anyone Worldwide is set to release a limited restock of Bomb Playing Card in the USA and the rest of the world today. The deck is a collaboration with As Is NYC (a modern craft beer bar) and features a striking red card back and Ace of Spades depicting a lit bomb you would normally see on Saturday morning cartoons. The initial release last week was sold out and we expect the limited restock will go fast as well! The EU release of the BOMB deck today was sold out in less than an hour.

The BOMB Playing Cards will be available 15 August 2018 at 10am EST on anyoneworldwide.com.

Anyone Worldwide is set to release a new deck of playing cards in collaboration with As Is NYC (a modern craft beer bar) today. From their various Instagram post, here's what we know so far:

1. Sales of Bomb Playing Cards will be made available at 11am at 734 10th Avenue, At 50th Street, New York.



2. The deck will be made available for $20.



3. The deck sports a custom red card back and Ace of Spades depicting a lit bomb you would normally see on Saturday morning cartoons.


 4. The team from Anyone Worldwide will be flying out for the event.



 5. Benjamin Pratt, the co-owners of As Is, met the founders of Anyone while photographing Cardistry-Con in Brooklyn 4 years ago.

Bomb Playing Cards
Finally on August 4th, Anyone Worldwide collaborated with As Is NYC (a modern craft beer bar) will be releasing some merchandise including a deck of playing cards and a limited teku designed by tattoo artist Sölvi Dúnn. Sales of Bomb Playing Cards will be made available at 11am and the team from Anyone Worldwide will be flying out for the event as well.
