Final Days on Kickstarter, KLEOS Playing Cards


French designer Olivier Leoncini of Kardeck has a passion for combining the futuristic technology of sci-fi with ancient mythologies coming from different civilizations. His previous deck series with this theme: Akheton and Zodiakai, were both successfully crowd-funded and loved by the community. Now, Kardeck is ready to introduce another mix-up. Introducing KLEOS Playing Cards, a deck series that mixed Greek mythology with sci-fi.

There are two main editions of the deck series: NYX and EOS, both representing evil and good respectively. NYX edition features premium black paper with diamond orange foil and silver sparkling holographic foil.

EOS edition features premium white paper with diamond blue foil and gold sparkling holographic foil. Both editions will feature a custom silver numbered seal. The tuck box features the artwork of the Corinthian helmet and Athena’s Owl.

The pips for the deck are also customised, each representing a mythical relic of the gods. All of the Aces come with intricate borders with a slightly enlarged pip.

Inside, the face cards feature original illustrations of the Greek pantheon of gods and goddesses along with mythological beasts. The courts showcase 12 Greek deities known as the Gods of the Olympians.

Each deck includes two different jokers – In the NYX edition, the jokers feature Medusa and Minotaur, while in the EOS edition, the jokers feature Pegasus and Hydra. 

The back design features two symmetrically opposed flying Owls of Athena above the intricate sci-fi pattern. When both owls are viewed, it forms the head of the Minotaur. NYX edition features a darker colour scheme, while the EOS edition features a brighter colour scheme.

Less than 24 hours on Kickstarter, AKHETON Playing Cards


AKHETON Playing Cards is a futuristic mythology deck of playing cards where Sci-Fi and Egyptian mythology merge. Less than 24 hours on Kickstarter, the fully custom deck is designed by Kardeck, a French team of card enthusiasts. Their goal is to create playing cards with unique and original themes to awaken everyone’s curiosity. 


The fully custom deck features hand-illustrated courts featuring courts in a cool futuristic Mecha-suit. The pips are inspired by the Science-Fiction genre with Futuristic pyramidal shapes evoking Spaceships, Egyptian Symbols, and advanced technology. 


To stick with the overall AKHETON design, the card backs are embellished with Mecha parts, Futuristic Pyramid architecture, Sci-Fi Hexagon pattern, and Laserbeams. 
  

The deck is packaged in an eye-catching tuck box featuring the Sci-fi aesthetic with a fantastic Egyptian mythology twist. The tucks are embellished with Holographic Gold Foil Black (Dusk) /White (Dawn) Paper. The contrasting colors give this deck a distinctive style.

NEOTOKYO Playing Cards, Only 3 More Days on Kickstarter


NEOTOKYO Playing Cards by Kardeck is a cool and stylish deck currently funding on Kickstarter. The fully custom deck has been designed to reflect the futuristic side of Tokyo. 



The hand-illustrated courts feature Powerful Heroes from NEOTOKYO. The pips inspired by the Cyberpunk genre with a strong Neon Blue for Spades/Clubs, and a bold Neon Magenta for Hearts/Diamonds. 


The Futuristic shapes and symmetry evoke Cyber-Tech with complex circuit boards and balanced Mechas structures that refer to diverse Japanese Manga and Anime. 


The custom card back design is embellished by a HUD Interface, futuristic gears, mecha parts, blue neon energy lasers, and a magenta neon circuit network. 


The tuck is packaged in an eye-catching tuck box featuring the Sci-fi Cyberpunk aesthetic with a magnificent traditional Japanese twist. ネオ東京 NEOTOKYO is written on the front surrounded by various Mecha parts and circuit boards.
