Kings Wild Project has unveiled a new edition of his luxurious Imperial Playing Cards series with the Imperial Silver Edition, featuring an elegant blue and silver color palette.

Originally introduced with Red and White variants, the Imperial series is known for its refined royal aesthetic, combining classic luxury design with premium production techniques. 

The new Silver Edition continues that tradition with a cooler, more regal appearance inspired by polished silver, deep blue accents, and timeless imperial styling.

The deck features a fully customized tuck case, card back, and court cards, with the face designs maintaining the series' signature minimalistic approach. Metallic tones, intricate detailing, and a restrained color scheme create a sophisticated look throughout the deck.

Like previous Imperial releases, the tuck case showcases traditional craftsmanship with intaglio engraving and embossed details created through die-stamping techniques. The result is a tactile, premium presentation designed for collectors who appreciate fine playing card production.

theory11 Releases Moooi Collector's Edition Playing Cards Box Set

Theory11 has partnered once again with Dutch design house Moooi to introduce the Moooi Collector's Edition, a premium box set featuring three beautifully designed playing card decks inspired by the brand's celebrated artistic collections.

The set includes the returning Extinct Animals deck alongside two new editions: Tokyo Blue, inspired by Japanese aesthetics and the Indigo Macaque, and Memento Moooi, which celebrates kindness, connection, and nature through a collection of extinct creatures.

Housed in a premium collector's box wrapped in black vegan leather, the set features a magnetic closure, carrying handle, logo tag, and an illustrated display tray designed to showcase the three decks. Each deck features fully custom artwork created in collaboration with Moooi and produced by theory11.

Combining luxury packaging with distinctive design, the Moooi Collector's Edition offers collectors a striking presentation piece while expanding one of theory11's most visually acclaimed playing card series.

Pirate Legend Playing Cards on Kickstarter

Pirate Legend Playing Cards by ACPC is a new pirate-themed collector's deck inspired by the real figures and events of the 17th and 18th-century Golden Age of Piracy. Rather than fictional swashbucklers, the deck features historically researched personalities including Blackbeard (Edward Teach), Anne Bonny, Grace O'Malley, Henry Morgan, William Kidd, and Ching Shih.

Created entirely with hand-drawn artwork, the project avoids AI-generated illustrations in favor of detailed sketches that give each card a classic historical look.

The Kickstarter campaign includes Standard and Special Editions in both Gold and Silver colorways. The Special Editions feature cold-foil accents across the cards, with optional gilded edges, and are limited to 500 decks per version. Standard Editions, limited to 1,000 copies, include embossed holographic foil tuck boxes inspired by weathered pirate chests.

A highlight of the release is the 3D pull-out pirate ship tuck box, developed exclusively for the Special Editions. Collectors can also go for a handcrafted wooden treasure chest, complete with leather straps, metal hardware, two standard decks, two gilded Special Edition decks, a numbered certificate of authenticity, and a custom collector's coin.

TCC and Lunzi Present SHOP52 Playing Cards

TCC and artist Lunzi have unveiled SHOP52 Playing Cards, a fully illustrated deck that transforms an everyday shopping street into a miniature world of shops, characters, and stories. Following Lunzi’s signature vintage hand-drawn style, SHOP52 moves away from fantasy settings and instead focuses on the familiar charm of urban life. 

Each card represents a different storefront, capturing scenes from bakeries, cafés, flower shops, bookstores, antique stores, clothing studios, and more. The collection features 54 unique shops, each designed with detailed dip-pen illustrations and its own atmosphere. Together, they form a complete miniature commercial street contained within a single deck.

The tuck box enhances the experience with a unique drawer-style design, allowing collectors to slide open the deck like discovering a small shop hidden inside a shopping bag.

SHOP52 is available in several editions, including a Coming Soon Edition featuring storefronts before opening day, a Mystery Deck series with randomly selected shops, and the Street Collection Deck containing the full illustrated shopping street.

The card back retains its intricate artwork featuring Lady Liberty, a phoenix, and references to the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, while concealing a fully marked system for magicians. Bloom Playing Cards Unveils The Door Gods Playing Cards

Bloom Playing Cards has released The Door Gods Playing Cards on Kickstarter, a new collection inspired by the traditional Menshen (Door Gods) of Chinese folklore. The release is the latest entry in Room One's Collection System and celebrates the guardian deities believed to protect homes from evil spirits.

The series consists of four editions representing the changing seasons: Spring and Summer Standard Editions, alongside Autumn and Winter Special Editions. The Special Editions feature metallic cold-foil card faces and gilded edges, while all four decks showcase fully custom artwork inspired by traditional Chinese architecture, porcelain, and ornamental roof tiles.

Court cards depict legendary Door Gods, including Shenshu, Yulü, and other historic guardian figures, while the number cards combine to form panoramic seasonal garden scenes when displayed in sequence or as uncut sheets. 

Each edition also features a custom lattice window-inspired back design reflecting its seasonal color palette.

Collectors can also choose from themed box sets, a matching collector's coin, stickers, posters, and uncut sheets, offering multiple ways to display the artwork beyond the decks themselves.

Royales Rivieras Playing Cards Capture the Glamour of the French Riviera

Royales Rivieras is the latest luxury playing card collection from Kings & Crooks, expanding the vintage casino-inspired Royales series with a new theme celebrating the elegance of the French Riviera and Monte Carlo.

Designed by Lee McKenzie, the collection draws inspiration from sun-soaked Mediterranean coastlines, classic Riviera style, and the timeless glamour of Monte Carlo casinos. The series launches with three distinct editions, each representing a different moment of a Riviera day.

The Azur Classic Edition features turquoise-inspired artwork with metallic gold inks, while the Rosé Classic Edition reflects warm late-afternoon hues accented by gold detailing. Completing the trio is the Dusk Players Limited Edition, a casino-inspired deck featuring a full-bleed back design, enhanced indexes, metallic gold accents, and an individually numbered collector's seal.

All editions include fully custom artwork and premium tuck boxes finished with gold foil, deep embossing, soft-touch matte lamination, interior foil detailing, and custom seals. The Dusk Players edition adds a wraparound numbered seal, emphasizing its limited-edition status.

Bicycle Turris contra Turrim Playing Cards Bring Medieval Bologna to Life

Produced by PlayingCardDecks, Bicycle Turris contra Turrim is a new limited-edition playing card deck inspired by the towering architecture and fierce family rivalries of 12th-century Bologna, Italy. 

Unlike most custom decks created digitally, every court card and the tuck box artwork originated as hand-painted acrylic canvases by artist Artur Rajch. The artwork adopts a striking proto-cubist style, with geometric portraits inspired by early modernist paintings, reflecting the conflict and ambition that defined medieval Bologna.

The asymmetrical back design features contrasting cyan and red halves symbolizing the city's rival factions, while Latin words including Ultio (Revenge), Ordo (Order), Ambitio (Ambition), and Lucrum (Profit) reinforce the deck's historical theme.

Printed by the United States Playing Card Company on Premium Classic Crushed stock with the signature Air-Cushion Finish, the deck includes 56 fully custom cards, including two unique Joker designs. The deck is limited to a first edition of 2,500 copies.

Created as both an artistic and cultural tribute by Sextante studio, the deck explores themes of life, death, remembrance, and the journey to Mictlan, the underworld of Aztec belief.

Every card features original artwork, from the custom courts and aces to the numbered cards, jokers, and back design. The courts depict iconic Mexican figures reimagined in the style of calaveras and catrinas, including revolutionary heroes and ancient deities. The aces combine traditional Day of the Dead imagery with pre-Hispanic symbols, while the vibrant back design incorporates cempasúchil flowers, papel picado, skull motifs, and indigenous influences.
