Dairy Playing Cards

Dairy is a fully custom deck steeped in retro charm... a playful tribute to 1950s advertising, where wholesome smiles meet a faint hint of suburban unease. Designed by Sinecure in collaboration with X-Decks, the deck blends mid-century nostalgia, kitsch, and a touch of dystopian humor into a set of cards that feel both comfortingly familiar and intriguingly offbeat.

Presented as a product of the fictional Daffodil Farm, a “wholesome” subsidiary of Atlas Aerospace Inc., the deck leans fully into vintage commercial cheer: fresh milk, perfect families, and immaculate domestic bliss… if you don’t look too closely.

Throughout the deck, hidden stories and subtle cracks reveal that perfection might not be as perfect as it seems. Aces take the form of ice-cream treats shaped like their suits, pips are customized in strawberry and chocolate tones, and every card carries a cheerful reminder to drink more milk... because, of course, it’s good for you. The Jokers introduce glimpses of personal trouble beneath the curated suburban surface, and an additional mystery card, designed with the solver of the Passport puzzle, adds a touch of lore.

The tuck box resembles mid-century grocery packaging, complete with frosty tones, rolling farm hills, and the cheerful mascot Lil’ Dee. A faux top seal gives the box a classic look without requiring any cutting. Inside, the back design references old Cornishware stripes in soft blue, cream, and white, the visual language of classic dairies and country kitchens.

Dairy comes in two editions. The Vintage Edition is the pure, classic version: clean, simple, and ready to play. The Collector’s Edition elevates the experience with striped edge painting that wraps the card design around the deck, a premium tuck with raised spot-gloss elements, pink gingham interior printing, and side cutouts that reveal the striped edges within.

For those who want the full farm-fresh experience, both editions can be packaged in a re-closable half-milk-carton collector box. Available in either an all-Vintage set or a mix of one Vintage and two Collector’s decks, the carton set offers a charming... and distinctly quirky-way to store your cards.

Passport (Luxe Gilded Edition) Playing Cards

Elegant. Enigmatic. Airborne.

Created by Sinecure in collaboration with X-Decks, Passport Playing Cards transports you to the glamorous Jet Set era of the 1970s, blending luxury, mystery, and Cold War intrigue. Set in 1972, the deck captures the allure of high-altitude travel through its gold hot-foil back design, inspired by passport emblems and flight officer sleeve braiding. 

The aces resemble authentic visas, while the number cards mimic weathered passport pages stamped with vintage port marks. The court cards depict four aristocratic families in exile, combining opulent period details with holographic watermark effects and subtle nods to traditional card symbols like the suicide King.

The tuck box, made from dark blue leatherette-textured stock, features embossed gold foil and a die-cut window revealing holographic artwork. The stunning Luxe Edition enhances this with gold gilding, a numbered interior, and a side window showing the gilded edges. Also, hidden puzzles and Easter eggs weave a Cold War mystery through the design, rewarding those clever enough to solve it.

Passport Playing Cards By X-Decks

Created by Sinecure in collaboration with X-Decks' Supported Artists initiative, Passport Playing Cards on Kickstarter captures the sophistication of the 1970s Jet Set era with a unique twist of mystery and artistry.

Set in 1972 against the backdrop of Cold War tensions, this intriguing deck invites you into the carefree world of high-altitude luxury, and exotic destinations. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, it evokes the allure of Concorde-era travel through its premium materials and design.

The back design echoes 1970s passport aesthetics, featuring a gold hot-foil logo and stripes that create a striking fan effect, inspired by flight officer sleeve braiding. The aces showcase recreations of authentic period visas, while the number cards resemble passport pages with aged, authentic port-of-entry stamps.

The court cards portray four aristocratic families in exile, embodying the decadent Jet Set lifestyle of the era. Their designs, inspired by historical figures, feature holographic watermark effects and nods to classic card traditions, like one-eyed Jacks and the suicide King.
