Kings Wild Project has just released the latest addition to its celebrated Legal Tender series: The Swiss Franc on Kickstarter. Continuing the tradition of blending world currency design with premium playing card craftsmanship, this deck pays tribute to the bold colors, geometric precision, and artistic flair of Switzerland’s iconic banknotes.

First launched in 2013 with Federal 52, the Legal Tender series has grown to celebrate currencies from the U.S., China, Britain, and now Switzerland. The Swiss Franc deck stands out with its vertical orientation, vivid gradients, and references to themes like time, light, and communication — all signatures of the original banknotes.

For this edition, designer Jackson Robinson draws deep inspiration from the textures, motifs, and symbolic themes of real Swiss currency. Rather than simply replicating elements, Jackson reinterprets them through his signature engraving-style illustrations.

Final Day on Kickstarter, GRID Series 6 Playing Cards

The eighth deck in the GRID collection by UK designer Luke Wadey continues an eight-year exploration of typographic card design. Series 6 features a bold full-bleed neon orange back with white accents, custom faces, pips, and typography inspired by an isometric grid. 

Modern fonts, custom suits, and intricate details make each card a visual experience, with elements like dual color-changing timelines that animate as you rifle the deck. Under UV light, the orange ink glows vividly.

The deck includes two jokers, two ad cards, and four additional typographic cards, including a social card and a Swiss design tribute card. The orange tuck box features a clean 3D grid design with wrap-around artwork.
