Using inspiration from around the office, intern Laura Ryan created a unique tuck case for a deck of cards featuring employees at SWB&R. Although the cards are not a standard deck of cards, the design of the tuck case utilizes elements used in standard playing card design such as the two-way back design.
It also features new elements that are refreshing. The element that struck me the most was the tuck case was not traditional in functionality and it featured an inside design/color. A lot of decks these days do not change the functionality of the tuck and do not do much to the inside either. The majority, if not all, tuck cases feature an opening flap that the cards go in and out of. However, the SWB&R tuck case features drawer-like functionality.
