Coming soon… an elegantly crafted deck by Pure Imagination Projects, Deckades Playing Cards. This eye-catching deck of cards is the brainchild of Derek McKee and meticulously illustrated by Logan Max, the dynamic duo who brought you the Melies playing card series.
When asked what motivated them to create Deckades, Derek said,
After our first deck The Melies, Logan and I were sitting in my moms office trying to think of what the next deck could be. We wanted to find a way to tell the story of Charles Dickens A Tale of Two Cities through a deck of playing cards. Both of us have always had a passion for history and especially loved early 20th century American history. By combining the concepts of The Tale of Two Cities with the Roaring 20’s and the Depression of the 30’s, Deckades were born.
