There will be a slew of decks released by our friends at Kings Wild Project on Black Friday. Most of the decks will be very limited in quantity and we expect these to go FAST. So to help you decide and plan for Black Friday, here’s what to expect from Kings Wild (kingswildproject.com):
1. Six Foot Five, Limited Edition Playing Cards ($25)
As a way of saying thank you for his many years of support and help as a playing card designer, Jackson Robinson designed and produced this limited edition deck for his brother, Taylor. The Six Foot Five deck is a very limited run of 250 decks. Each deck comes hand numbered. The cards were printed by The Expert Playing Card Company and the tucks case was intaglio engraved by Artistry Ink Engraving and Embossing. The deck features beautiful metallic blue and gold inks and the tuck case as a stunning dual colored effect using Artistry Ink’s specially mixed, in-house golden blue ink called “Peacock Blue”.
2. Verum Videre Anniversary 2nd Edition ($25)
A follow-up to the Verum Videre first edition, which was produced to usher in a new chapter for Kings Wild Project. One of Jackson’s goals is to be able to be more self-sufficient in the total production process of making playing cards. The Verum Videre Anniversary Edition features the same cards as the first edition with a new rigid construction collector’s box that has a luxury matte, soft-touch finish. Both the box and the gold joker (inside the box) come hand signed by Jackson. Printed by the United States Playing Card Company on Premium Stock (formally Bee Casino Stock) with 5 metallic inks! Limited run of only 500.
3. Golden Tigers Special Edition
Inspired by the bold designs and colors of vintage matchboxes, 72 special edition of the beautiful hand-illustrated deck will be made available. The Golden Tigers features LTD cards kept in a standard edition tuck box with gold sandpaper and a gold seal.
4. Maduro Gold Edition ($38)
A hand-illustrated playing cards that are designed in the colorful style of cigar band and cigar box art. Each court card is hand illustrated using uniquely original designs that set the Maduro Playing Cards apart from an ordinary deck of playing cards. This deck is the perfect blend of tradition and style to make your next cardgame a genuinely unique experience. The Gold Edition comes in a beautiful cigar box style collector’s box that is sealed with a numbered vintage style tobacco Internal Revenue Tax stamp.
5. White Christmas
Initially released as part of Kings Wild Shorts, the Deck the Halls: White Christmas Edition Playing Cards will be made available to the public. The sweater-inspired deck is limited and we expect these to go fast!
6. Gold Set ($150)
