ARW Playing Cards is the latest release by Luke Wadey Design. Just launched on Kickstarter, the deck is inspired by the use of visual directions and signage around us. According to Luke,
I have created the ARW Playing Cards which adopt an arrow based theme with traditional, typographic crossover aimed mainly at cardists and collectors.
ARW will be the first in a 6 part series. Like Luke’s previous designs, the deck is fully custom with bold design and striking colors.
ARW uses arrows through all card faces, one-way card back, and tuck, designed for dynamic, modern simplicity with Swiss design influences and also includes two jokers, a double backer, and a gaff card.
The design and functionality come together to ensure this deck will excel in flourishes and holds little quirky details that once understood, help to push the theme even further.
ARW Playing Cards will be printed by the USPCC on premium bee, crushed stock and limited to only 2000 decks. NOW on Kickstarter and pledge starts at £8.
