Paisley Playing Cards is a classic looking deck inspired by the timeless Paisley, pattern meticulously designed by the team at Dutch Card House Company. The deck design is a departure from their first three cardistry-centric playing cards. This time, they wanted to create a worker’s deck for everyday use and performance. 52 cards that merge elegance with function.
The nature-inspired design lends itself perfectly for a clean yet detailed back design. The tuck is clean, simple and allover immersed with the paisley design. The deep black colorway of the tuck gives this deck a rich and elegant look. The court cards appear in their traditional designs but have a slight paisley touch that merges the concept to create a whole, fully custom deck of cards.
Included in this deck is a well hidden, two ways, marking system integrated into the detailed back design. It is very easy to read for the trained eye and completely invisible to the audience. Head to their website to find out how it works.
The cards will be printed on the crushed grade stock by the USPCC with the Air Cushion Finish and traditionally cut, the highest quality available. Pledge starts at €8 (USD$10) on Kickstarter.
A limited edition Paisley Playing Cards in French Blue design with blue metallic ink on the back and tuck will be available if the stretched goal of €10.000 is met.
