A limited-edition, Bicycle branded deck by Brain Vessel Creative (BVC). Funded back in 2017 on Kickstarter, the colorize edition Sea Creature deck was originally unlocked as a stretch goal on BVC’s Seven Seas Master Collection. This gorgeous Bicycle-branded deck features custom illustrated artwork of whales, sharks, octopus, and other marine life throughout.
The face cards showcase various sea creatures fully colored and shaded with twelve sea beasts illustrated as the court cards, a custom Ace of Spades, and a joker diptych of an iconic battle between a sperm whale & a giant squid. Aesthetically, this deck is meant to invoke the period art of Scrimshaw, a name given to scrollwork, engravings, and carvings done traditionally upon whalebone.
The tuck box is embossed with a striking teal foil printed on the inside and capped with a Brain Vessel Seal. Printed by the United States Playing Card Co and available on brainvessel.com for $16.
