Paper Kings playing cards is the spiritual successor to EDGE playing cards produced by TCC Playing Cards Co. Both decks are designed by Prague-based Creative Mints who is known for his beautiful modern graphic design, illustration, icon, Web and User interface design (Behance: @creativemints).
We were told that the design of the deck costs $15k and sports a modern abstract design with eye-catching color combo. The deck is fully custom from the borderless card backs, to the pips, Ace of Spades and Courts.
Although simplistic, the deck is very well designed and will definitely appeal more to cardists. The full bleed card back makes for incredible flourishes, fans, and cascade. The abstract courts add a hint of sophistication to the deck.
Also available during the campaign is the Luxury Edition of the deck. The cards are designed differently. Each Paper King Luxury Edition is packaged in a special box.
Both decks will be printed by USPCC with crushed stock finish. Perfect for Cardistry.
