Check out this new deck series from Deckidea. The Sandwich Series is a collection of decks with tuck boxes made to look like photo-realistic food ingredients to make your own sandwich.
On the inspiration behind the deck, Jason Cheng, founder of Deckidea said,
Being a foodie, I wanted to combine my love of Sandwiches and playing cards. I used that as a concept, and 100+ hours of work later, “the Sandwich Series” was born.🍞
There are three versions are available to make your own deck sandwich- bread, egg, and luncheon meat. Fully custom, the deck features a stylish illustration that will surely appeal to both sandwich lovers & card collectors alike.
The card back of each version is the ingredients of a good breakfast sandwich- bread, egg, and luncheon meat. The Aces are dishes made from the ingredients and the court cards depict a chef cooking.
Also, the jokers are also designed to be at different cooking stages of an ingredient, (i.e. from Egg Shell to Scramble Egg), perfect for a quick fun sleight of hand magic trick.
The decks will be printed by Cartamundi on True Linen B9 Finish with SlimLine paper stock. Pledge starts at $11 on Kickstarter. Add-ons such as half-brick boxes and tote back are also available to keep your sandwich secure.
