Artedame Dutch Design Studio introduced their first deck in the Paisley Playing Cards series last month. The Black Edition is a traditional workers deck of elegant poker size playing cards for the cardician, cardist and collector with a two ways hidden marking system, inspired by the ancient well-known Paisley pattern.
Now on Kickstarter, two Limited Metallic Editions in Ruby Red and French Blue colorway were made available. The card backs and tucks are presented in striking metallic inks, giving both decks a luxurious look and feel. Printed by the United States Playing Card Co. and limited to only 1000 units each.
To showcase these Special Edition decks, an exclusive custom collector’s box has been made available during the Kickstarter campaign. The box features a matte black interior and exterior with silver hot stamping print and a classy ribbon to open the drawer with ease. Inside, a soft black foam inlay encloses the decks perfectly for extra protection.
Pledge starts at €13 for a deck and €34 for the collector box set. The decks are expected to be shipped by April 2019.
