The Second (Winter) Edition of the No7 by Montenzi Design is the follow-up to the UC2019 No7 Playing Cards but this time with a different vibe that match the color tones of the Christmas season.
Three colorways are on offer during the campaign, Burgundy Red, Midnight Teal, and Alpine Honey. Each with their own unique color palettes, back designs, and tuck boxes.
The Burgundy colorway is reminiscent of mulled wine, a family-favorite beverage in the winter that will warm your hearts, incorporating the key colors of the ingredients: wine, orange, cinnamon, and mulling spices. The back design features a floral pattern at the center and continues outward extending “vines” which signify the vibrant explosion of taste from the beverage.
The Midnight Teal edition weaves in colorways similar to that of Northern lights, dancing, and crisscrossing throughout the winter skies. Overlapping is the stripes on the top and bottom of the design, expressing the dynamic movement. The teal, blue, and green could also be seen as the skylines of the arctic where pine trees dangling with icicles meet the bluish starry night.
The Alpine Honey edition sports a fiery orange and yellow colorway meshed with tones of green are the perfect colors for a warm living room where families gather to enjoy the joyous Christmas atmosphere.
The New Edition includes characters that are instantly recognizable custom designs from No7 series. The courts of each suit have each donned the vibrant winter hues of the deck. The subtle gradients of color help provide an almost 3D effect to the layered ribbons that wrap around these beautiful two-way designs.
The decks will be printed by WJPC on premium stock and cardistry finish. There will be up to 600 decks for each color. Pledge starts at $12 on Kickstarter.
