The deck is fully custom from the Ace of Spades, pips, indices, Jokers and court cards. Each suit represents a different clique: the MC’s (Diamonds), New Romantics (Hearts), metalheads (Spades), and nightclubbers Clubs). Iconic characters inspired the court cards set against a vibrant ’80s style design backdrop.
The eye-catching card backs take their cues from traditional playing cards with shapes, patterns and colors reference Memphis design, a top trend of the 80s. The Second Marriage Studio branding is prominently featured on the mirrored card back.
